Fraud Affiliate - Beware Sponsors!!!!
 

We dont usually like to do this but seeing what is going on lately, I thought I'd post this to make a point.

We had just terminated this affiliate without pay and have proof of the fraud activity this person does.

Without going into much detail, we made a special deal with $60/trial on our cam site.
This person sent a lot of trials yesterday, and we caught it and have proof because we actually have a fraud dept who called his customers to confirm.

If you are an affiliate program with trial offers, please be aware of any new deals coming your way.

If you are an affiliate, and have thought of doing some shady practices, know that we are proactive and do not tolerate fraud.

$60/trial and I can't get shit for my free referrals? like 25k in traffic and no $. maybe that is why affiliates are being shady.

The guy just started the deal with us couple days ago and we know already by the next day what to do with this kind of traffic.

We aren't big in the pay for trial biz but always curious to see how it would work.

Well, this one is pretty obvious and an easy spot for our fraud dept.

The guy was very defensive when we told him our concern and that we will do further investigation, I believe he immediately asked if he will still get paid.

do not under estimate the power of courtesy calls to these customers, many appreciate that we call because sometimes they aren't even aware of it, for that we help ourselves in lowering CBs ratio from these people.

we also call to customers who were smart enough to do friendly chargebacks, and many time we won as they caved because we did have proof that they used our service.

AK was it an affiliate that had been sitting dormant in your program for a while or was it someone new you just let in.

No disrespect whatsoever and I don't say this often... but try sending that same traffic to a similar sponsor and see if it works out better?

I think its smart to do some verification to head off major fraud. I was just being sarcastic because I would think the person making those calls would need to use some good judgement in certain situations so as not to piss off a legit customer who may end up being a big spender.

I don't think so, not if you had proof of the fraud and could provide clearer details on what was going on, ie carding, etc... I see names and epass accounts listed by sponsors here all the time of fraudulent affiliates.

Why would you pay $60 for a free trial, that makes no fucking sense in any capacity. Most of the people here dont care but how the hell can you afford that?

That's the cams niche, if they're willing to pay $150 for a $25 deposit then $60 for a free trial doesn't seem that much of a stretch does it?

Amateurmatch.com sucks. It's full of fake profiles and I'm pretty sure they have employees that write fake messages to users in order to lure them into paying for a membership. I started promoting through dating gold during a $150/signup special they had going on, got 3 legitimate sign ups, and then I get an email from them saying that my account was closed due to fraud. Their reason was some horse shit about how I had never promoted them before, and then started sending traffic during a $150 pps special, which apparently was suspicious. (?) They also claimed they called one of the people that signed up through my affiliate link and that person claimed they were "tricked" into signing up. Yea, the amateur match banner ad on the top of my site must have tricked them. I don't blame them though, I would say anything to get out of paying for that shitty site too.

Of course we call our customers to protect ourselves from all those chargebacks and foul plays by new affiliates.

Somehow, I do recall having to terminate someone like you, 3 legitimate sales on the $150 PPS special.

When I get more time after FL, I might look you up and post here so I can warn other sponsors?

If sponsors would like to know how we look for frauds, you can contact me, but I wont post here what to look for in detecting frauds.

I know right, that sucks. But with what's going on with programs closing shops here and there, you can never be too careful these days. :2 cents:

Dont be modest, I'm sure there are other cam companies who can convert for you.
I am serious when it comes to this, you'll probably have to go thru few sponsors until you find the right one for your traffic. :2 cents:

I hate to do it, but I may have to resort to AFF/Cams I just hate that company.

I tried most of the cam sites out there & they suck balls. Oh btw guys I have one thing to say... Only promote cam sites that offer small PPS payouts.. Don't trust cam sites that give out huge payouts for PPS.. they are just trying to lure you in so you could send them allot of traffic. Most of these programs will convert like shit.

Better keep an eye out for those fraudulent affiliates.

When you run adult dating sites, chance is you some unhappy customers and usually they are the one who will say anything to complaint.

Now I remember I had terminated one of your "friend" or "referred" affiliate that you would make money on had I not catch it on time. Actually, it was kinda too late since we did get a charge back out of your "friend" affiliate with high PPS.

I see that your account is still active with us, and I invite you to message me on ICQ or email me that you would like to close your account with us.

I did not have any proof that you were involved with your "friend" affiliate.

Funny how I messaged you few times about some posts you did and you did not even bother to message me back.

I wish that ALL affiliates are like you. Not demanding high payouts in the industry. When it comes to cam sites, always go with revshare IF you know your traffic is legit.
Sponsors like us LOVE working with revshare affiliates because the risks are lower on our part.

With revshare, Affiliates can't make money with "put your credit card for free and make $25 cash (because im making $60 just for sending my sponsors trial sales or initial sales)"...

well you get my point. It sucks when affiliates get caught.

i dont have anything for you but when you are in need of fighting fraud affiliates, my icq line is open for you, not sure if you ever run an affiliate program or not.
