Poll: Email notifications of affiliate sales...Like or Dislike?

I'm curious whether most affiliates like getting email notifications every time they register a sale to a given program or if they find it annoying and overkill. We don't currently do it, but I'm considering it as I don't mind the emails that I get from the programs that we push that do it.

Please let me know what you think.

I think it would depend on how many sales. If you are getting 20-100 sales a day, I think that could become quite annoying. But if you are only doing a few sales here and there wouldn't be bad idea.

As long as there's an option to turn it off, I think they're good.

Sometimes that's what reminds me that I'm still sending traffic to a program.

Definitely a good point. I currently get them from only two programs, and they are ones that we don't promote heavily and thus get maximum five per day, most often less. If I got them from the programs that we sent a lot of joins to, I might have a different opinion.

Thanks for the input!

I think its a good addon, but like somebody else said, needs to have on / off :)

Definitely a good option to have.

I do not understand why people would not want to be told they had just made money.

Google puts all of that info from the same sponsor into a "conversation" so it doesn't bother me to get 30 in a day since it'll all take the same place as one on my screen.

I like them, definitely.

I would like to get notification of rebills too, but I can't think of many sponsors/billings companies that do that, not even CCBill. Verotel is the only one that springs to mind.

One important thing I like to see in email notfications is how much I've earned, not the value of the sale. I've been trying to get CCBill to do this for years :/

I think it's a good feature when testing new sponsors. But when making daily sales I would like to turn it off.
