I'm shutting down a program

Effective August 5th all of my movie galleries will be 404. If you are selling me gallery traffic please remove your links asap. If you are buying gallery traffic on or about the 10th I will process refunds for traffic still owed or you can recieve traffic to your site instead, your choice.

This change is not due to economics but rather the recent court ruling dismissing the FSC lawsuit. In order to be fully 2257 compliant I would need ids of every model in every thumb that sends to a gallery and it's simply not worth the hassle. Chokertraffic is fine financially, in fact I have pushed many legal tube sites into Alexa top 1000 recently and I continue to change my business model to accomadate the market. I recently introduced popunders to my system, anyone wanting to buy or sell them hit me up. For the last year I have been able to supply all traffic buyers with my own traffic, but demand is up so I am now accepting new resellers. My dating program is making record profits and I have decided to expand it and make more cobrands for serious webmasters.

Anyone going to Miami hit me up no matter what your business is (except hosting, lol) lets do some business.

2257 is the real killer of our Industry. Forget piracy, tubes, scams, etc... 2257 is the nail in the coffin, piracy is the worms eating the decaying industry.

what world are you living in? people who give it away seem to be not subject to 2257. those who steal it and sell it seem to be not subject to 2257. fact of the matter is if you're honest, you're fucked. if you just steal everything you will be fine.

Are you being hasty? Is this from the advice of your lawyer?

The DOJ's 2257 compliance guide FAQ points out that social network sites aren't required to maintain documentation for user-submitted content if the site has no hand in selecting or altering the content. The same logic should apply to tube sites, galleries, and other sites where you don't exercise editorial control, or modify the content in any way. They mention social network sites specifically, but the same concepts apply to other sites that fall into the same category.

I don't think a MGP is considered a social networking site.

It doesn't need to be a social networking site to fall into a category that social networking sites do fall into.

LOL, guys lets be realistic here. You get your ass inspected you are asked one simple question, "Do you approve the pics of the thumbs then put them on your site?" I love the keyboard attorney responses here. People are welcome to put their head in the sand regarding 2257. I sure as fuck won't.

If its just the 2257 thing, why would ANY trafficbroker still send traffic through? Im not seeing any of the other brokers closing up part of their shop. Economy is brutal, are you sure its not just that? Its ok to admit bro, as long as you payout your existing clients.

Arent you afraid that they will go after fake profile pictures on datingsites? I mean, if you close part of chokertraffic, i think its even more risky to keep up dating sites promoting fake profiles. Like for example: www.realfreedate.com ?

Btw. awesome how you pushed all these tubes to the top1000 recently, can you show us some? Just 4-5 or something?

I may have a few clients for you that want to buy massive amounts of hq traffic, but is it possible to NOT receive traffic from that searchengine you own (http://www.chokinchicking.com) or the circlejerk sites (http://www.hooga.com/)?

BlackCrayon 08-04-2010 04:46 AM

in a world of illegal tubes im surprised anyone follows the law anymore.

Im just wondering why someone would be following the law on some aspects, and not follow them on the next.

Doesnt make sense to me.

He is very lucky I'm in the middle of a move and don't have time to play right now. Give me a month then I will have time to play

You post about something like 2257. A subject that interests me highly, and then when i ask questions about it its not "ok" in your book?

Its a legit question bro, i dont accuse you of anything. I was just wondering why you close part of your shop and say its about 2257 issues (and not economic issues) but on the other hand run a site like: http://www.realfreedate.com/

Just didnt make any sense to me, but if you dont want to clear it up its fine with me. Just tell me its none of my biz. But this is a discussion board you know. You post something, and people will vent or ask you questions.

Its how things work in the grownups world ;)
