Obama-Clinton ticket for 2012

Obama will win no-problem in 2012, but will he be switching Joe out for Hillary?

Clinton has been nothing but a team player who has earned good marks since being asked to serve as secretary of state. She has skillfully navigated the globe and been tough and commanding when the moment called for it (with Iran) and graceful and diplomatic when situations required (navigating complex relations with Russia, Pakistan and China).

they gennerally don't swap VP's

Tom_PM 08-03-2010 09:53 AM

Not a chance in hell I say. Just an opinion article that is gaining attention because of it's audacity, nothing more. A distraction.

It could definitely happen.

Odds are against it, but it COULD happen!

Imagine watching a Hillary Clinton vs Sarah Palin debate... how great would that be?!

_Richard_ 08-03-2010 10:05 AM

running clinton as VP would be a good bet

THe only Clinton that can bring any kind of hope back to the Democrats is Bill. Everybody loves that man.

No I couldn't, sorry dude, Hillary is shit for a public speaker.Palin would have her sticking points, Hillary would call her a quiter, the only unknown is how Palin would answer that and anything she said, weither it's good or bad would be demonized from the liberal media. And Fox would report with experts from both parties to give their view of how they did.

"Obama-Clinton Ticket For 2012"

Gosh, I thought that was going to be the title of a new Grade B horror flick.

This is where politics fail. After all of this time, effort, and money.... We are still at square one, where we were ten or twenty years ago.

This could happen. I don't think Biden has any interest in running for president in 2016 (he would be pretty damn old then) so I could see a scenario where he steps down to "spend more time with his family" then Hillary gets bumped up to VP and runs on the ticket in 2012. If Obama wins that puts her in the driver's seat for 2016 and would give her a big advantage over the other democrats who may run then.

This could also re-energize the democrats. All the polls show the democrats as not being very excited about voting in November and many of them are no happy with the direction Obama has taken, but if he teams with Hillary, it might make them happy again.

You sure had to dig for that one didn't seeing how its almost a month old. Also, Liz Peek writes Opinion Commentary for several websites and magazines so that same article can be found on about 10 other media outlets. I know you where thinking you had the golden egg in using a Fox News Op-Ed piece to support your own theory but you really failed.

And there will be no Soetoro/Clinton ticket in 2012.

Credible yes and no more "biased" than say, NPR, CBS, ABC or CNN. IMHO, the BBC also does a fine job of reporting. Liberals simply don't like Fox News because it does not overtly support the sinister socialist agenda of Comrades Pelosi, Soros, Obama, Clinton(s), Boxer, Feinstein, Schumer, Franken, et. al..

I am not a Democrat and not a Clinton supporter, but Hillary has done a pretty decent job as Secretary of State. Joe Biden is a bumbling fool compared to her. She's tough.

That said, I think the Clintons already have too much influence. And, they ran a horribly corrupt administration.

I like to see Huckabee/ Palin or Huckabee/ Romney or Huckabee/ Pawlenty.

There is no "heath care", only a mandate for citizens to BUY medical insurance. NO "heath care" is provided but for a few with that 2,200 page scam bill! The entire thing was a ruse to create profit for the insurance companies. Typical Democrat.

I dont know if Hilary would want to run with him. After all she is an early American progressive:

Woodrow Wilson who showed "Birth of A Nation" at the white house quotes:

Quote:

?Segregation is not a humiliation but a benefit, and ought to be so regarded by you gentlemen.?

When questioned about his stances on race relations In 1914, he told the New York Times,

?If the colored people made a mistake in voting for me, they ought to correct it.?
Quote:

"self-preservation [forced whites] to rid themselves, by fair means or foul, of the intolerable burden of governments sustained by the votes of ignorant negroes."
