FSC's .XXX Panel at AVN Show
 

Hey Folks,
I just wanted to give you the details of the seminar FSC is organizing at the AVN Show later this week.

Titled ?Dot-XXX: A Broad-based Perspective from Industry Leaders,? the panel includes me, representing FSC; Hustler President Michael Klein, Private Media Group?s Andrew Sullivan, BurningAngel.com founder Joanna Angel and MiKandi Chief Software Architect Christopher O?Connell. The panel will be moderated by Wasteland.com founder Colin Rowntree.

The seminar is scheduled for Saturday, August 7 at 11am.

I appreciate AVN giving us the forum to discuss this important issue, .XXX is one of the most important issues facing the industry and it?s important that adult industry professionals understand what is at stake. This also is an opportunity for industry members to express their opposition to the .XXX ?sponsored? domain.

Topics to be discussed by the panel include:

• An overview of .XXX sTLD components
• The potential impact of .XXX on the industry
• Claims made by domain registry ICM in their efforts to have .XXX approved by domain regulator ICANN
• The next steps in ICM?s application process
• Pre-registration of .XXX IP addresses
• ICM?s claims of protection for children from adult material online, as well as protection for the adult industry
• The IFFOR regulatory board for .XXX

ICM CEO Stuart Lawley has reportedly said that he will attend The AVN Show.

I hope you or someone else will be filming that dirt bag lawley, this way he can never come back and dispute anything he said.

It also might be wise for people to make it public that they are not for .xxx prior to them asking any questions, so lawley won't use a group of people asking questions as supporters.

I hear they will be selling baskets of rotten vegetables just outside the doors to this seminar.
