A person I know went into a casino

...to eat breakfast. While waiting on his order...he put three dollars in a slot and it hit for two thousand dollars. While waiting to be paid off on that slot he put five dollars in another slot and it hit for five thousand dollars. He is now on his way to Mexico for a little vacation.

Yeah, that sounds plausible, considering the source (NOT!!!)...did he also drive a Jaguar, die before hitting the jackpot and buying the cheap used Jag, and go by the name of Pathfinder? :1orglaugh :1orglaugh :1orglaugh

IllTestYourGirls 08-04-2010 07:43 AM

Yeah I was sitting next to someone at the bar at Foxwoods that had to call his mother to take his slot seat because he was up $10k and it was still paying out. 30 mins later he comes back to the bar and bought us a round of drinks claiming he won a total of 15k.

I never win anything in games of luck :(

alexchechs 08-04-2010 07:47 AM

Congrats to your friend...

I had a similar experience years ago, for not as much money. But my ex father in law gave me $20 to spend in Vegas on a slot. And I forgot about it til I was checking out of a hotel. I told my ex to just put it in a $5 slot machine before we get in our cab to say we did it. On the 3rd pull she hit for $1000. Thank god we had to get on a flight because I would have been putting that $1000 back into all their slots.

Walking out the door of Casino Rama after losing $500 playing poker I put my last $20 that was in my pocket in a slot and won close to $1800.

pornguy 08-04-2010 08:07 AM

Fifteen long ass years ago... I stood in a casino.. Reno Nevada... my asshole husband was asleep at 2am and I contemplated cracking out the credit card and gambling a little. As I dug for my wallet in my purse, I found nine $1 chips... I saw a $3 buyin Blackjack table and decided to blow those chips first... 6 hours later my husband was peeling me off that table to catch our plane back to Florida as I scrapped $1800 back in my purse... It's only because Florida has no casinos that I'm still in the profit from that one lucky night 15 years ago... sometimes hot streaks of luck do come along...

L-Pink 08-04-2010 12:08 PM

I won $3500. while waiting in line with friends to see Rodney Dangerfield at Ballys.

Exactly what I was going to say

The Ghost 08-04-2010 03:50 PM

Casinos love stories like this. Winners tell 100 people. Loser might tell 1 or 2 :)

slayer69 08-04-2010 03:57 PM

gamble, gamble, gamble

Sergio Payingsolutions 08-04-2010 04:09 PM

I've managed to stay away from any sort of heavy gambling. Having said that I feel like I've missed out on some sort of coked up out of control rampage in life :(

gmr324 08-04-2010 04:18 PM

I've had a similar experience in Foxwoods where I make more money when I'm not trying so hard.

bloggerz 08-04-2010 04:20 PM

Last month I flew out to Vegas to meet some of my friends from LA for some gambling and golfing. One of my friends got a comped room at The Palazzo and had his choice of comped $500 to spend on slots or table games. He's a big blackjack player and would normally always choose the comp chips for blackjack, but decided he'd just have some fun with the slots as he never plays them. He was given a card with the comped credits and he wanted to burn through them quick so we headed to the high limit slots.

He was planning on playing $5 slots and found a bunch in the high limit room. Without really looking closely at the machine he puts his comp card in decides to play $200 of the $500 on the card. Right before he pulls the lever I stop him as I notice that it wasn't a $5 machine, but rather a $100 machine. The machine looked like one where the casino could change the denomination and it was at the bottom and not real visible. My friend is pissed and tries to cash out the $200, but the machine won't let him cash out the comp as he has to play through it. So he decides to just play two pulls at $100 each. The first pull he hits for 180 credits, which is $18,000. Nice way to start off the trip, just plain dumb luck.

Platinumpimp 08-04-2010 05:11 PM

He was lucky for sure!

Damn that's awesome. Aren't comped supposed to be played until gone, that you can't actually cash them out? I could be wrong, mainly why I asked.

FeelMyTube 08-04-2010 05:46 PM

gambling is the way to go, there is no money in porn.

Yeah he had to play through the $500 comp on the card, but they paid him out all of the winnings as soon as he hit. It was odd that they paid him the 18k in cash right next to the machine, I figured for that amount he'd get a check.
