There are also a lot of people selling families on ebay. lol
|
To damn many "families around here like that.
They have no jobs and live pretty well, they get state "assistance", hud housing and food stamp cards and most are on some type of disability. They more kids the better the payday, one turns 18 and they squirt out another. Average around here seems to be 4-6 kids. Family that lives across the street is on all of the above and just bought a brand new tahoe. They haven't worked in years, why should they our taxes support them. pisses me off. |
i dont get that shit..
|
It's pretty dumb. I wish people would think about the consequences of childbirth and the impact it has on tax payers if you don't have a secure income.
|
Don't worry. We can pay for them. That's what Welfare has turned into. God bless the forward drive into socialism. Those who can work will carry the lazy and inept on their backs.
Kind of like office politics, really. |
Ironically in the US when you?re poor is the best time to have kids. In a lot of states you qualify for baby Medicaid even with a job. That pays for everything even complications. Compare that to busting your butt making 30k a year and if you?re lucky you have some piss poor medical coverage. But a lot of group medical plans don?t even have maternity benefits. Meaning you may very well have to cough up 10-15k for a normal child birth, and even if you do have coverage with the high deductibles/co insurance/out of network you could easily be out 7-8k. Not to mention all the stuff you have to buy for a new baby. Nowadays, it really does make financial sense for a young couple not making a lot to have the kids early on when it?s paid for by the government rather than years down the road when they are going to have to out of pocket so much money insurance or not. 2 kids in your 20?s when you?re not making a lot = free 2 kids in your 30s when you have a middle class income as much as 30k out of pocket with insurance. My wife had our first kid when she was 30 she was a state government employee and had a?Cadillac? insurance plan with a $500 deductible. We paid close to 3,000k to the Doctor and the Hospital for the deductible/co-pay/ and stuff that wasn?t considered reasonable and customary by the insurance company. This was 6 years ago. Keep in mind we were already paying in excess of $500 a month for the employee contribution towards the health premiums.

what else are they going to do to make themselves feel like their lives weren't a complete waste, lol.

A friends sister is like this, divorced with two kids and another on the way. One day we calculated how much she was sucking off the tax payer and it was well in the $30k a year and we were under estimating everything she was getting.
Not bad for just spitting out kids. |
I heard that a lot of poor people tried to get off welfare buy becoming PHP
programmers, adult webmasters and designers. This seems to have flooded the market with workers and free porn sites and the result is a lot of previously wealthy people have lost it all. Put more welfare people to work; then soon you won't have to. :1orglaugh |

"just spitting out kids" -> dude, I obviously see that you are not a parent yet.. Raising a kid is the hardest fucking 'job' in the world FYI [at least if you feeel responsible for them and love them and try to do a good job]. Children Are The Future, and OF COURSE it does worth to tax payers to fund (especially the poor) families as they will be workers one day and good tax payers. A few years ago I've read on a hungarian news site that here ppl 'tax/produce back' all their costs until the age of 35, and from that they tax/produce 'profit'. |
Watch the movie Idiocracy, it's a look into the future.
|
That's how you came into this world. I'm going to tell you another dirty little secret. Your parents used to have sex.

I am a parent, with a job. Believe it or not both can be done! Those people sucking 30k a year will never pay back all they took. And here in America we have 5th generation welfare recipients. It might be different where you come from, but not here. |

An unemployed family in the UK can live better than those people working 100hours a week. I think family security is much more important as money shouldnt matter & does not matter. A child can be torn apart like a piece of furniture between a rich couple battling it out in courtrooms! The 16yr old girls having babies because their mate has one is ridiculous... get a pet dog or something! I feel for those that were or have worked hard & then found themselves in sticken times after having the children :2 cents: |

We are not experts of this, but I am sure its not a coincidence that these families get support [ i am pretty sure it does worth it for the System on long term..] and you should not worry about this. |

I love how some people reduce everything to a dollar amount.
News Flash, there's more to life than money. Maybe try not being so shallow that you can't even get wet. $.02 |

I saw a whole family of gypsies walking through the old town here in Wrocław today. They had the kids trained to walk up and ask people for change. They had a baby with them, and the wife was pregnant again heh
