I am leaving today for Mt. Baker.

Heading out for a 4 day climbing trip on Baker. Couple of days skills practice on glacier and in crevasses followed by two summit days up two different routes. Should be a blast even if the weather doesn't look great.

While I'm gone, Eric is in charge. Please listen to him and respect him as you would me; absolutely.

p.s. No pathfinder you've never climbed any mountain, you're just a fucking idiot, don't even post. Thanks.

Very cool.

If you ever get the chance, hit the Cordillera Blanca in Peru. I've never been there myself, but my brother took a few trips there in the 90s and brought back some amazing photos from a couple of the summits, including the peak of Huascarán.

I'm way, way too chickenshit to follow in his footsteps (well... crampon steps, I guess), but MAN what a view!

That's nice to have a mountain named after me. I feel so honored. Have fun, be safe.

Im from WA. Baker is a beautiful mountain. Im not a climber but it seems like a pretty popular climbing destination.
