I will take that any day over what seems to be a trend that is growing right now.
Endless Trolling with personal attacks on family members (Baddog's wife comes to mind)
Envy, biggery, overly racist remarks and just overall pettiness and people acting like kids.

GFY is GFY is GFY sure, but fuck if you are going to Troll at least be mildly funny and quick as Area51 otherwise you just look like a whiny child

I think its the same shit but just a different day. I was in the industry a few years ago and it was the same thing back then and it will be the same thing in the future too. people are people. Just look past the crap and take this for what it is and make the best of some of the useful info talked about.

Things are pretty mild around here compared to just a couple of years ago. If you really want to see some personal attacks, trolling and racist comments, bring back Pimpdogg, Alienq, Jimthefiend and a few others. I will say that it appears gfy is being moderated now the least I've seen it in a while and maybe that's why it appears out of control to you.

I feel like some of the really brutal cage fight matches of prior years are not happening, but there is a more constant low grumble of low level trollery. I have to admit that, while there is still much good business to be had via GFY, I have way way more people on ignore now than I ever did before.

It used to be a lot worse, people like Pimpdog and 12clicks come to mind.

As for having a go at family members, it used to get the flamer an instant ban and still should.

The board has gone down because the business is getting harder, people leaving, people having to do more work and some realising GFY is no longer the money maker it was. Even though a lot of trolls will tell you otherwise.
