Love it.. can be pretty addicting, but if you like the first one or warcraft games, make sure you get it.

I got it. So far haven't played it much but it took a while for me to really get sucked into the first one too.

I am holding of till I have less on my plate. I am afraid I will get sucked in, I lost many hours of my life to Starcraft and Diablo II and I don't want to get sucked in again just now.

i did worth every cent... but make sure you have a good video card :) i had to upgrade lol work video card out... good enough not extremely expensive play video card that lets me work in.

I love it, if you loved the first one you'll love this one. Pretty much the same only brought up to the latest performance standards.

My wife has even started playing. LOL. She also plays COD and Zoo Tycoon too though. haha

I have Geforce Dual 512's hooked together for 1024gb 8800 or 9xxx something like that and can run every setting on max without problem.

I think my wife has 1 512mb geforce in her laptop and is running it just fine but at lower resolution and settings.

i am using XFX geforce 240 1gb running everything on medium. using core 2duo processor 4gb ram intel motherboard

if i wanted to do max stuff i would probably upgrade motherboard and still use this card.

pretty decent for the price and for non gamer hardcore MF player :)

I have it, just finished up the campaign yesterday.
Haven't delved too much into the multiplayer aspect yet.

I really like it. Some good improvements over the first SC and staying true to the RTS model. The multiplayer battles I've done were fun and the races are pretty balanced this time around.

Protoss still has a big advantage when you dont know the other races... been getting my ass kicked on multi player by them when using terran. i have not touched protoss or zerg yet i want to learn races well this time. old starcraft i used protoss always on multi.

i know there has to be a counter for every unit i am just learning it all over :)

any idea how it'll run on a 8800GTX?

probably sucky or have to lower all graphic settings. i upgraded from xfx 8500 to the 240

to make it easier any card with 512 will probably suck unless you use double cards like FrozenJag

It's so cool that there's a mac client. Unfortunately the server does not support resume, that is going to suck bigtime. I dont know if I can get 7 GB's in one shot with my little DSL line.

There's alot that can go wrong in the amount of time it takes to DL 7 GB's.

Great rig but that video card is really out of place in such a nice box. I'm sure it runs most stuff but that is pretty odd. :)

BTW I tried running it on a 4890 full settings, 30" monitor no problems that I have noticed so when I enable the 4890x2 it should fly even better.

Yeah that card is out of my old machine. I keep meaning to get a new one but then I just keep forgetting about it until a new game comes out that I like.

I'm all about the single player, but I cant pay 60 bucks if its only a few hours.

I'm in about 12 hours now, and still in the human part.

Can you still play against the computer and over a local LAN like the first one? Or is it online play only now?

Does anyone have an extra guest pass? I'd really like to test out the game before I buy it.

Single player campaign is amazing.


Multiplayer is balanced for 1v1 and 2v2 but not much else. Yes, fellow nerd checking in.

I got it and already finished campaign :) It's a very good game! Amazing graphics, amazing story.... love it!

Just started playing a few games a week with an old friend. Haven't played an RTS since Red Alert, but this is a great game that rekindles that fun RTS feeling for old, slow, low APM noobs, sparring back and forth. Good stuff.

Just holding out til Civ 5 though :D.

I used to play a ton of StarCraft Brood War years ago which is probably why I've delayed picking up sc2, I know how addicting the game can be.

I really like Day[9]'s daily cast. Look him up on youtube, pretty funny guy.

I'm passing on SC2 for D3. Can't wait til that comes out.

Finished it twenty hours after release, it is really good game. That is all, nothing new, just good old RTS.

Me too,but i play it anyway.But now i think if i paid more attention to finances instead playing it every day maybe i would manage to save at least something from epass mess.Especially since i was thinking about withdrawing 1000$ two days before collapse but i rather played it instead going to atm.

Bought an electronic version for $15 (3 months of online game included). Unfortunately had not enough time to complete even single campaign, but the game surely worth the money.
