CCBill and Google Analytics
So i've set up Google Analytics on CCBill...but... what's the use of it? I mean, ok i can see how many visits my CCBill pages have but... it doesn't tell me where these visits come from!
It looks like the visitor arrived directly on the CCbill page, there is no way to track his path till there. Anyone has the same problem or has a solution for this? |
How did you set up analytics on a ccbill page?? Or do you mean the page you have right before that.
|
No i mean the CCBill page.
Inside the CCBill panel, under Account Admin -> SubAccount Info -> Advanced you can specify your Google Analytics id: http://www.piedicash.com/ccbill.gif After that you'll see inside your Google statistics all the access to the cgi pages of CCBill but, as i said above, i didn't find a way yet to track the path people followed to get there. They seem to appear directly on those pages. CCbill staff didn't really help me a lot, saying i should ask Google... |
Bump for me...anyone?
|
you have to have the analytics code on every page of your website -- that feature allows you to put it on the ccbill page as well
then, when its on every page you can then track the surfer's path , funnel and conversions |
Intresting thing. Never see this thin in CCBill page
|
I asked this question a while back as like op says, it seemed pretty pointless. Gonna put the analytics code on all my pages now and see what happens.
Thanks webseth for the info, |
Nothing will happen, unfortunatelly. That's exactly my problem: of course i did have already the code on every single page of my site... but the funnel simply doesn't work. Visitors seem to start at their pages.

It is working though. We had one sign up today and can see it was a direct typethrough.
Can also see what sites people are coming through. The only thing I don't understand is there were 12 visits referred from our domain - why does this happen? The code is on every page including the blog as far as I can tell. |
dude dont put the google analytics in the ccbill put it in the html below before the </body> code.

And it doesn't work properly... at least not for me |
had the same problem, it only tracks things going on on the join page when you use that ccbill link in the admin area and it's well hidden.. kinda a hassle. thanks for the advice, will add the google analytics code to all my pages!
