why i hate NATS4 ...
creating a dump list sucks balls already - but then, when clicking into the list to pick the NEW listings, firefox highlights ALL making it impossible to pick ONLY the lines i want ... FUCK YOU!
stats ... to see referring urls was easy in NATS3 - in version 4 it takes a lotta clicks ... FUCK YOU! by default the "date added" for a fhg is no longer shown ... FUCK YOU! serious ... i fucking HATE nats4 BIG TIME ... geez, just needed to vent  |

ugliest code i've ever looked at.

haha oh no, now you're gonna get sued :D
|
everything about nats4 is pretty bad IMO
|
I don't use Nats but you are venting because you have to click, more?
I just want to know if I should use it in the future. |

Its pretty, and thats all you need to know :P

i dont like the campaign creation process.
|
I too hate NATS4. It's a complete, inefficient mess.
|
Thanks to Slav you can choose to have our Nats4 skinned to work like Nats3
|
Thanks for the info...
|
have seen that ff error with a few programs
it's not nats, it's program owner |
agree big time
nats 4 is a joke |
I just hate that they are trying to strong-arm nats 3 users into using 4. I'm very very angry at that.
Nats 3 is just fine for us, and every other program owners I have spoken with. It's a great product. There is no need to make v3 users absquatulate over from v3 to v4 from a clients perspective, and apparently an affiliates perspective as well. Duke |

It could be worse. It could be like CCbill.

Quote:
nats sucks big time compared to it if ccbill program dies u still get paid and not with nats so please explain yourself |
Quote:
If a ccbill program dies, and the paysites go with it, ccbill cancels all rebills and thus your check. |

If you'd like to let me know a few programs you use which are on NATS4 I'll get in touch with them and try to get them to update ASAP so you can see/use the changes and let us know what you think. |

They can have it skinned to v3 and offer a drop down to change skins though. |
Quote:
you've really very little idea what you are talking about in 95% cases when program dies it just because of host or domain got expired. ccbill doesn't track it and sometimes surfers are rebilled on those sites, which aren't working anymore. and webmasters are credited for this. no past earning are deducted as well |

ab·squat·u·late (b-skwch-lt) intr.v. ab·squat·u·lat·ed, ab·squat·u·lat·ing, ab·squat·u·lates Midwestern & Western U.S. 1. a. To depart in a hurry; abscond: "Your horse has absquatulated!" (Robert M. Bird). b. To die. 2. To argue. [Mock-Latinate formation, purporting to mean "to go off and squat elsewhere".] Regional Note: In the 19th century, the vibrant energy of American English appeared in the use of Latin affixes to create jocular pseudo-Latin "learned" words. There is a precedent for this in the language of Shakespeare, whose plays contain scores of made-up Latinate words. Midwestern and Western U.S. absquatulate has a prefix ab-, "away from," and a suffix -ate, "to act upon in a specified manner," affixed to a nonexistent base form -squatul-, probably suggested by squat. Hence the whimsical absquatulate, "to squat away from." Another such coinage is Northern busticate, which joins bust with -icate by analogy with verbs like medicate. Southern argufy joins argue to a redundant -fy, "to make; cause to become." Today, these creations have an old-fashioned and rustic flavor curiously at odds with their elegance. They are kept alive in regions of the United States where change is slow. For example, Appalachian speech is characterized by the frequent use of words such as recollect, aggravate, and oblige. |

Well, we were talking about closed down programs, not expired domains that will be back up that "any" program would still be making rebills on. And in any case, expired domain or shut down site, the "members" of the site will contact ccbill when they can't get access - very quickly. And at that point, CCBill will check the site and contact the site owner to see wtf is going on. And if the site doesn't come back online or is shut down, ccbill will cancel all the rebills along with affiliate payments. |

maybe you can do some technical coding work, but when it comes to affiliates you're totally clueless now it's (and will be) only blah-blah-blah comming from, instead of admitting you were wrong or keep silent you have no idea how stuff is done by affiliates, that's the bottomline of all your posts |
Quote:
It feels like an overly techy coder has designed the whole thing - makes zero sense, wording is insanely stupid and it's just so difficult to do anything. Upgrading the code shouldn't mean downgrading the interface. |

You seem to have me confused with someone else, let me clear the air. I started off as an affiliate 15 years ago, I'm still an affiliate today and I've owned both ccbill, nats and my own backends and a large number of paysites, had processors pay affiliates and I've paid affiliates, I've worked with them one-on-one for 13 years so far. As you can see.... I'm not what you think I am. Soo... what do you do again? What paysites, programs do you own? Are you an actual affiliate that promotes paysites? I mean really, your big ass mouth and all - what have you done that actually qualifies you to even have an opinion? |
there's no point in talking to you
you pretend to be an expert in aff stuff, but so far you're just a failure the only thing you're good in is blah-blah-blah stuff |

So are you not going to answer the questions but rather just post blah-blah-blah stuff? |

.... at this point anything 'we' can do to discredit his service, the better. Until he accepts his system is flawed and calls out programs incorrectly, I won't back off his ass - period! What he's doing is only allowed/legal because the lives out of reach, but that wont last forever. |

NATS4 takes a bit getting used to. We have ours customized a bit for easier functionality to grab tools. Stat tracking is great! You get a lot more information about where your traffic is coming from and will help you target your traffic accordingly. The stats IMO is vastly improved. It just takes a little bit of getting used to just like everything else. I used flash4 back in the day. VERY easy to use. FlashMX is a superior upgrade but I personally hate it because I am not used to the functionality. Once you adapt to the changes you will see how much better off you will be. That goes with pretty much all "upgrades".
|
I'm not crazy about Nat4 also... :(
|
NATS4 offers a lot of little extra things that I don't think are necessarily needed by every program.
So I think a lot as to come down to the program as well picking what they actually need to display. Sorry, but I don't need a countdown to the end of the pay period. However, I might use that feature if I was running a promo and it was time based. |
The problem is not in NATS 4,problem is in programs owners who are toolazy to set it up properly and still using default skin and features which does look shity. But some programs customized it totally and it look and function better then anything else. It's like a buying a tube script and not adding anything to it except default videos and then you wonder why dont you make any money.

40 NATS ans Daizzzy haters aka experienced experts :2 cetns:
|
I prefer NATS4 over 3.
|
I hate NATS 4 for having a diffrent code structure then NATS 3. This causes me to update all and every link for programs upgrading to NATS 4.

http://enter.pornstarslikeitbig.com/...Revshare:plib/ To this (NATS4): http://secure.sunnyleone.com/track/whoeha.3.1.1.0.0.0.0 The old links are all tracking yes but the links themself change right?! The reason we change them is due to tracking purposes in our backend among other reasons. |
Quote:
The link format did change in order to better carry more information, but the old style are still supported specifically so that affiliates do not need to change all of their links on an upgrade. |
