403 traffic

where do you guys throw your 403 traffic? Any suggestions?

ArsewithClass 08-14-2010 05:18 AM

Ive been asked by a few larger companies just lately to send it their way. Ive refused as its always best to keep all traffic.

Depending on your situation, you could speak to Van from Twistys. He would welcome this kind of traffic.

it's pretty much the same traffic as 404, or am I missing something?

I sent 403,404 and most general errors to some dating / webcams / free access landing page.

right, but it has similar value as 404, or is it supposed to be different for some reason?

Wouldn't 403 be worth a whole lot less than 404? There must be a reason you're blocking that IP/user-agent from loading the page?

SpicyM 08-15-2010 05:07 AM

buy404s.com = guaranteed money

forget paysites and avoid sending it back to the main page, thats just plain stupid

these guys are freeloaders

4 years back in the golden age of gallery submissions, I easily made over $1k monthly with them.. well, times change.

We send 404 traffic to our own landing page as it could be a typo, or our own HTML error. But 403 we currently send to Google, mostly geo ip blocks like Russia and China. But in today's climate we're trying to make the most out of all the traffic we get, reason why we're taking a look at 403 traffic again.
