The End of Privacy: Entire City to Track People With Public Eye Scanners
Good morning Mr. X welcome to the Beverly Center.. can you imagine walking into a mall or some public place and after an eye scanner sees you, they track and promote things to you not to mention know all about you.. or arrest you if you're wanted !! ?? Imagine that db getting hacked and peoples records being corrupted... this has FAIL all over it.
http://cache.gawkerassets.com/assets...retinal-id.jpg Imagine a public eye scanner that can identify 50 people per minute, in motion. Now imagine that the government install these scanner systems all across an entire city. Or don't imagine it, because it's already happening, right now. The City of Leon, Mexico, is doing exactly that, installing real time iris scanners from biometrics R&D firm Global Rainmakers Inc. These scanners don't require people to stop and put their eyes in front of a camera. They work in real time, as people walk, like this: http://gizmodo.com/5615901/the-end-o...e-city-of-leon <--- check out the vids |

The way those people are walking in the video it looks like they are still somewhat looking into the device, and walking at a slower than normal pace. Still creepy.

Seriously, this is scary news. Imagine 10 years from now, shits gonna by NUTS! |
"In the future, whether it's entering your home, opening your car, entering your workspace, getting a pharmacy prescription refilled, or having your medical records pulled up, everything will come off that unique key that is your iris. Every person, place, and thing on this planet will be connected within the next 10 years."
maybe in bigger cities etc, but I doubt we will see this anytime soon out here in butt fuck nowhere.... All it would be scanner around here are chickens a rabbit or 2 and some squirrels :) |
sunglass sales should be good in that city :)

As a marketer, I would be fascinated by that data.
As a human, I am effing appalled. |
Let me tell you your brain has the energy within it to destroy this shit.

Completely unacceptable, but hey, futile pitiful words.
