Weird colours, looks pretty cool with extra depth but it gave me an instant headache too.
If you use the glasses the wrong way and switch left and right, you will see no 3D at all.
Is it just the glasses or the 3D effect itself that causes these weird effects?
Or is 3D just not the new "thing" everybody is hoping for?

Im guessing that the "parallax" was greater than 3%. "Parallax" is the separation distance of the two images that are layered over each other. The proper layering of the 2 images is what creates the 3D effect. If the separation is greater than 3% of your monitor or tv length wise, it will cause your eyes to strain, via your eyes trying to focus on 2 images instead of the intended one. This is what can cause you head aches.
Good 3D is 50% science and 50% art. The better 3D shooter Teams will be able to ride the very fine line between Projection out of your screen and amazing depth without cause the viewer any head aches.
I use the word 3D teams because good 3D cannot be done by one lone shooter and a hand held. Too much going on and too much that can go wrong when shooting good 3D.
Any porn director who thinks that they are gonna just pick up a 3D camera, shoot (head ache free) 3d and do it with out any "stereography" 3D training, is gonna loose a shit load of money, piss off all clients, give everyone a serious head ache and give 3D a bad wrap.
Good luck to all that try shooting 3D:thumbsup

I saw an Ashley Fires' 3D porno in Vegas. Expensive glasses, but well worth it. Very nice quality.
