Man I can't take all these Christians on Facebook
 

I love to vent on gfy, it's what I've always done. hah :1orglaugh

I have so many family members and close friends on facebook now, it is nice to keep in touch that way otherwise I'd probably never talk to some of these people again!

but damn, so many fucking christians! I keep reuniting with old family friends and then its like they are on my newsfeed spamming me with jesus! hahaha! I don't want to offend any of them because I either love them or know them well, people can believe what they want that doesnt' bother me. But shit now I have fucking christian youtube songs on my wall, and an 18 year old cousin who posts things from the bible. I delete them from my newsfeed ALL the time, and end up adding them back occasionally but about to delete a bunch again.

And the ones who have something good happen in their lives, always crediting god, hahahaha I can't take it.

anyways I know there are a few non-believers over here on gfy. I have resisted adding ATHEISM as an interest on facebook because I don't want anyone to even bother me about it. But one day, I might crack and just do it. hahahaha

no GOD didn't get you that new job, and he sure as hell didn't help you find your cell phone. geez people lol

Yes, those messages left on your wall can be annoying. The people I have are a small group of friends that would not post that stuff on facebook or 'friends' that I added back when I used to play mafia wars (stupidest game ever).........someone posts that stuff on my wall it is an immediate goodbye

oh please, "GOD" is mostly an excuse to "sin". I DO encourage people to have faith in things, but at some point people need to give themselves credit for their own actions. Bragging about how much you loooove jesus isn't going to make you happy.

It's pretty silly to work really hard, be positive, and then act like some higher force brought you success. But hey, if people don't believe in themself and want to credit "god" or "jesus" they can keep on losing themselves in religion.

Well I have a lot of American family up in Illinois, and on the east coast, and all across the US really. My Euro cousins aren't religious at all. It is definitely cultural and geographic. I actually don't think I even realized how many of these people I've known most of my life are so damn religious! It blows my mind as they say.

I haven't lost respect for anyone but I find it almost funny the way they go on about god, jesus, etc. Giving so much credit to something you're not even sure exists just doesn't make sense to me.

If God were the cool "in" thing, I'm sure you and your husband would be jumping on the band wagon.

I feel like an ass at times, but I like to play Devil's Advocate with those types.

i think i would delete those types of people and just send em an email now and again but i don't do facebook in the first place. i don't care for the forced interaction.

Yeah that can be fun sometimes. My problem is I have to live really close to a bunch of these people. Just on our street, there are at least 9 houses of relatives. It is pretty crazy but the family here is old and has been here forever. And they are almost all church going catholics.

When we moved in his Aunt came over to make sure and tell us we need a crucifix in every room! I just nod and then ignore it all. But I don't want them hating on me, never piss off a catholic cause their god will forgive their vengeful actions. :1orglaugh
