Get ready Apple!
|
Looks sleek.
|
That's not a phone, those who thought so. It's a little bigger than a phone and not quite as big as an iPad.
The Galaxy line of phones blows the doors off of the current iPhone. And yes...it does run Flash. |
:hitit .
|
7inch screen? I like the Dell streak but even with it's 5inch screen it's a bit too big to use as a phone. Interesting regardless.
edit : lol http://cdn.slashgear.com/wp-content/...s_-540x447.jpg Yeah looks real portable. You gotta go one way or the other. Either have it portable enough to be used as a phone or have a big enough screen to be used as a fully function-able tablet. |
It's called Galaxy TAB(let) for a reason ... dunno why some of you are thinking this is a new phone :upsidedow
|
Pretty nice device.
|
I can't afford one...
|
I am going to the Engadget Show tomorrow in NYC to check this device out first hand. Wondering what capabilities it really has.
|
That's really cool! :thumbsup

If you're open to any carrier, I'd go with Sprint's Epic 4G. I think you mentioned liking the actual physical keyboard, this is the only one in the lineup with the keyboard. It's also go 4G. The Model that TMobile, Verizon and ATT all have vary only in some minor cosmetic changes and the software installed on them by the carrier. I think one of them gives you an HD version of Avatar already preloaded onto the phone. The chip at the core is an updated version of what is found in the iPhone. If you haven't seen this video, check it out. It'll really give you an idea as to how powerful these phones are. The HTC is a pretty nice phone but does nothing but stutter and stagger. Not a problem for the Galaxy. |

Here's a bunch of video stuff from YouTube on ATTs version. It's still a nice phone, even on ATT :winkwink:
https://youtube.com/results?searc...captivate&aq=f You won't be disappointed with Android. And if there's something that bother's you...you can change it up with out much hassle. |
Here is a small video of the tablet working in Korea

I didn't pay attention in class lately, whats' the big deal about iphones and flash?
(why isn't flash supported yet?) I still use a ~2yr old Nokia E71 (symbian s60), and even the default web browser shows flash fine.. |
Checked out the Galaxy S today at the At&t store, I loved it. 1ghz processor, 16gig built in.
|
It could have all the features plus a kitchen sink and they still wont sell as many as Apple. And the reason is sadly predictable.. Apples user interface is easy enough for your grandma to use. Consumers dont want nerdy tech devices with resolutions megapixels and gigabytes they want to feel empowered by simplicity and accessibility.
As soon as companies like Sony, Dell, Microsoft and Samsung come out with products that are as intuitive and as easy to use as the obvious market leader, they will start shipping a lot more units. Just because YOU think your android/samsung/sony device is easy to use doesn't mean the average consumer does. Good luck to them, a bit of healthy competition is always a great thing. |
samsung phones blow

Nice teaser, I'd like to try it.
