Ok so what did I do wrong with this website? Did I just not market the model correctly? Bad web design?

Since starting that site a little over a year ago, I have produced other sites that were MUCH more profitable yet with models who did not look nearly as good IMHO. But I didn't do anything different in terms of design or marketing.

well the name sounds like a dating site...

You should change the method of promotion!! cos with time its good to add something fresh.. I can see you taken care of On-Site SEO factors.. But as the website is a year old.. So i think you should also focus on its link building, regular directory submission and social bookmarking.. Good luck

But as regards to promotion & marketing, I really can't comment on it.

The design and the model on the site looks great.

Yes the design looks good and there's nothing wrong with the girls but I think you could change the way you are presenting your message. Let me explain . .
1. When I first went to your site it took me about 20 seconds and until page two (the free tour) before I worked out what the site was about - it's two young girls at college having lesbian fun together right? It's a perfectly good idea for a site and the girls look great but you could make it clearer on the home / tour pages what surfers will find inside. It says "Jessica and Amber's Official Girl / Girl Website" in fairly small letters across the top - but girl / girl is more of an adult industry term - I think you would convey the message to a surfer quicker if it said (in bigger letters) next to the blond's head "watch me fuck my girlfriend's brains out inside" or if you wanted a softer approach "Two college girls discover lesbian sex right before your eyes!".
2. Also, do you offer any video inside your members area? I would assume you do but there are no sample videos anywhere on the tour - why not? How is a potential surfer to know . . a) if you even do videos . . b) what quality they are . . c) what sort of things he will see on the videos (do these girls just tamely spread their legs or do they shove the contents of the local grocery store up each other? We don't know . .)
3. You are focussing on two particular girls and yet you don't introduce them to us. For example, how does a visitor even know if Jessica is the blond or the brunette? Why don't you consider adding a short biography on each girl somewhere on the tour - i.e. try to get the surfer interested in these girls - make them more of a person and less of a picture that isn't real. It doesn't have to be a long boring bio - just some stats on her figure, height, age, favourite sexual position, favourite food, what she is studying at college, the usual shit - but at least they then start becoming more real in the surfer's mind (even if you make the whole lot up and say they are into Pasta when they actually prefer a nice juicy steak :1orglaugh). Basically you want the surfers to be interested in what Jess and Amber are doing this week (to each other :1orglaugh)- and all the time they are some plastic photoshopped image on the net rather than a real person, they aren't any different to a thousand other girls. You could even get them down to a local college and take some snaps of them walking through the grounds hand in hand or kissing - so the surfers start to think its real . . get the drift?
Overall I think with a bit of tweaking this site could do really well. So, simplify the message, make the girls real and show surfers what they can expect inside.

I notice you haven't made any changes to this site since we gave you feedback two months ago. Did you not like the suggestions then? You just posted another thread saying you had some free time so "knocked up an affiliate site" and wanted feedback so it's obviously not lack of time causing you to not make any changes. I was going to give you feedback on the affiliate site but thought I would check this thread first to see if I was wasting my time. So, is there a reason you have left this paysite as it was? Have sales suddenly increased? If so, what do you put that down to?
I think taking a site that ISN'T successful and turning it into something that IS successful is one of the more interesting processes you can read about on GFY so it would be useful for a lot of people if we could follow this through to its conclusion . . :thumbsup

Hi. Yeah I haven't updated the sit. Not that I don't appreciate the feedback, because I do appreciate it. It's just that I have just been working overtime on a new solo site, www.iwantlexi.com. I've implementing some of the suggestions into my new site.

OK fair enough, well post back on this thread when you do make the changes and we can take a look and see what else can be done to improve things :thumbsup
