Next week? Wow, my son's been back in since last Wednesday. It's nice having the house quiet during the day. :2 cents: :thumbsup

Starts back next week here too. I dont have any kids, but there's so many around the neighborhood that it transforms the whole area when school starts up. :thumbsup

Do they not do cooked dinners at school?

Our lads all have a canteen with hot food.

You send your kids off to summer camp? Isnt it great to get out with your friends on school holidays?

My son has been back in for 2 weeks now.

He loves it.

The focus is back on education.
I think the human mind gets used to education being a seasonal thing.
After all, they don't go to school during the summer.

In order to profit, companies must sell paper, pens and school supplies.

They finished camp a couple weeks ago.So i've been the one making sandwiches...lol
I don't remember having the energy that they have when I was a child. Teachers don't get paid enough.

So what are school hours over in the US?

Here in the UK its about 8.30 to 15.30 with an hour dinner & 2 20ish min breaks, 1 morning, 1 after lunch.
In Spain, They have siesta, so they have a very long midday lunch. 8 till midday and then back at 16.00 or 17.00 until 19.00 or 20.00 in the evening.
