I smoked weed once. Really doesn't appeal to me all that much. I don't even like being drunk. The feeling of being "out of control" is not something I like at all.

its not for everyone but most people i've never who have never done anything are pretty uptight people.

I don't know about people who never did drugs.I got tired of crazy women sleep all over the house.Getting stuck up once in awhile wasn't cool either...lol

Just because something is legal, they think they can use it as an excuse that its not a "drug".

I have never consumed any drug that was not prescribed by a doctor unless of course you count alcohol... I dont drink any more.

I never did drugs because I was afraid I would like them WAY too much and destroy my life over them. I have no interest in trying pot but I will say for most of my life I have always been very curious about hallucinogenic drugs. To me if your going to do drugs, do the ones that truly alter your reality.

At 43 I do not see how it would make much sense for me to start experimenting with drugs now

But prescription drugs are way more dangerous and addictive than pot, coke, or acid are.

Anyway, the original poster is talking about recreational drugs. Nothing wrong with kicking back on a Friday night and having a few drinks and a line or a hit off a joint and laughing it up with your friends. As long as you aren't doing it everyday and keep it only to the occasional weekend fun.

Just a nice head buzz to go with your liquor is what I enjoy.

Oh hell yeah, I dont pass judgment. I could not care less if other people do drugs, they sound fun....too much fun is my point there heh heh.... and I am telling ya, acid sounds like a blast and aside from getting sick to my stomach shrooms sound sweet

I agree with you completely about med scripts. Just as, if not more dangerous then illegal drugs imo

not that i'd patronize illicit drugs, but if it was for me, i would ban cigarette and alcohol first (or at least limit them)

Frankly the hard stuff scares me. I don't like how it changes the personality of people who are on it. Why would I want to feel like someone else? Just not my thing, I guess.

Much more dangerous than coke or pot for sure....but the real question to me is: Why should anybody have the right to tell another person what they do or don't do to begin with? If a person likes to get high, it's none of my business.

And before anybody talks about "crime" related to "junkies" being a good reason to allow our govt. to run our personal lives...I'm not talking about meth heads with addictions, I'm talking about the millions of people getting high on the weekend and having a good time. And then the cops come around and arrest them and they are suddenly "criminals". That ain't right.

He doesn't bother me at all. Met him at a couple of shows. Super nice person and he's never done anything wrong to me or said anything bad to me or about me. Why would I not like him? I mean we aren't "buddies" or anything...I don't think he even drinks. And for somebody to be my buddy, we better be getting drunk at the titty bar a couple of times and maybe sharing a whore or two. lol

In fairness now, smoking is bad for you blah blah blah, but it's just harmful to the body, there is no chance of psychological damage that can be associated with other drugs.


And alcohol? One of the best things ever :1orglaugh. In moderation its not bad for you at all (in fact wasn't there some studies which showed it to be of some benefit?), it's consumed in a pleasant manner and has facilitated lots of good times.

Of course.....it can also be abused. :winkwink:
