Now the police will have to actually hit the streets and investigate. Craigslist saved them a lot of work.

No shit, it's pretty funny to me that they would want to shut it down since they could easily use it to bust people at will.

Slutboat 09-04-2010 01:33 AM

so where is the outrage here people are you fucking nuts? Newsflash: you are in the sex trade! You make your money from video taped prostitution and the goverment just shut down the most central instrument of income for the vast majority of sex workers in this nation and no indignation from you guys?

Next step is shutting down your most profitable pay site or sponsor so wake the fuck up people and don't stand for this shit. If the backward thowbacks known as the Republican party take the house in Nov the witchhunt won't stop at hookers and Johns, it maybe your livelyhood they destroy next.

BIGTYMER 09-04-2010 02:31 AM

Our country has gone to shit.

abbywinters was forced from an entire fucking country and the bros here at gfy didn't even notice :2 cents:

Ron Bennett 09-04-2010 01:32 PM

Many in law enforcement working vice liked CraigsList adult section because it made their job so, so easy ... those days are done. A big positive with the closure is stings will be more time consuming and difficult.

Ron

you serious dude? wow you must suck at chess

they now have the precident of killing craigslist, which gives them the bogus moral and legal authority to go after any and all craigslist clones that may get suddenly popular.

you think they are going to be satisfied that they brought down craigslist???

this shit is far more serious than most people here realize.

mynameisjim 09-04-2010 01:37 PM

This was more of a buzz word thing.

When it was just prostitution, Craigslist could get away with it. Then their opponents started calling it "human trafficking" and within a month, they had to shut it down.

Search for all the articles within the last month about this issue and they talk about human trafficking. Articles from a year ago about this issue all talk about prostitution.

The power of words.
