Best place to stay in Seattle?

Hotel 1000 or....? I need to stay close to the ferry as I will be on Bainbridge Island a good deal.

We always stay at either the Warwick or the Westin. It's pretty central to everything, plus it's super close to Jazz Alley. Getting back after some drinky drink is really easy.

Edgewater is best - forget the W or any Westin because you can get that anywhere and it isn't unique. The Edgewater is legendary and completely unique - classy but still rock and roll.

Be sure to listen to Zappa doing the Mudshark for historical reference to the infamous Led Zeppelin mudshark incident...
