Just read this Epass update
 

Update, Sept. 7, 1:07 p.m. ET: Visa just issued the following statement:

?At the request of St. Kitts-Nevis-Anguilla National Bank (SKNA), on September 2, 2010, Visa blocked network access for prepaid cards issued by SKNA and operated by ePassporte.com to address certain program deficiencies. ePassporte.com is a third-party agent that works with SKNA.

?It is important to note that impacted SKNA prepaid cardholders are still able to access their funds through SKNA or SKNA?s agent, ePassporte.com. For more information cardholders should contact SKNA or ePassporte.com.

?Visa is committed to maintaining the integrity of its global payment network and routinely conducts due diligence to ensure Visa prepaid programs adhere to the company?s stringent program requirements and controls.?

Yeah. My understanding is they requested it. Visa did it. And now it's been undone and funds SHOULD be available.

That doesnt sound much like they wil ever turn them back on. Let's hope epass jumps the hoops. Although holding onto a shitload of money many webmasters can't access will be tempting .

no they are saying cards have been turned off, but funds are available at epass to "access" ( i.e. look at , unless you have the option of withdraw via a method other than atm)

Through epassporte and not the card. Thats the way I understand it.

It's nothing new, we have been able to access them all along, just not with the cards they confirm above have been suspended.

That's how I read it too. You can't use your card or the VV account, but your money that was on it should be accessible via SKNA or ePassporte.com.

Has anyone tried to work with SNKA to get their funds directly since this release?

my bet is epassporte is holding your funds while they try and find another bank to run the cards thru

the card definetly does not work, just tried it......"your transaction can not be completed at this time"

I did an withdrawal and got the cash today actually...seems like they let the big fishes collect their cash atleast.

I think Epass needs to get in here and address this.

Right - however, VISA says you can access those funds through the bank or ePassporte.com.

I had to test the transfer ability myself after reading this release just cause and got exactly what I thought - declined.

Someone call the bank and try to get out $$. I'm curious - and I don't think my phone call demanding $.45 will get anywhere.

I certainly hope that since SNKA is working closely on the issue that it'll be resolved very soon! Because it was originally SNKA's order to VISA to shut down the cards... It wasn't VISA's action, which might be good, or bad. Regardless, the bank says they are working with epass to fix the issue, which is positive thing in the whole story.

exactly.. they never answered WHY money in VV account can't just be "moved" to ewallet..the answer is simple, need to keep cash in there to stay alive, but the clock is ticking and as each day goes by, the odds of the VV money ever seeing your pockets is slipping further and further away. Guys you better have a plan B to pay the rent

I actually had a sponsor send me a $200 which went into my wallet, which I submitted for it to be sent to my checking account and it said it went through successfully :)

I still can't transfer the rest of my funds from virtual to my wallet though :(

I think you should let them do real biz and fix the problems first before they post here.

First of all, I don't "let" them do anything, because I have no control over their business. Second of all, they have someone who seems to be in charge of posting on boards. It's not unreasonable to expect it to be addressed.
