One Of The Only Good Things About A Bad Economy
 

Last night I placed an ad online, looking for graphic experts.

The details of the job are irrelevant, but regardless, I offered $10 p/hour.

A few years ago this work would have been $25 to $50 p/hour, easily.

This morning there were over 30 responses in my inbox, and the replies just keep coming!

My only regret is that I didn't offer $8 p/hour instead.

Maybe soon we WILL be able to compete with China, as long as our pay rates keep on dropping and dropping!

How many replies were from Indians that kept calling you Sir?

Surprisingly, none so far!

It was a local ad, specifically requiring local people to work out of a local office.

I am shocked as well!
