Does It Bother You That Chris Mallick...

has not made a public statement about whats going on with Epass?

i think most people would be ok with the situation if they heard a statement from the horses mouth as to what's going on..

i think the silence from Chris is what has people really concerned... :2 cents:

DavieVegas 09-08-2010 09:27 PM

Ya BIG TIME and the fact that michael said theres a announcement thursday but HAS NO IDEA what its about maeks it even worse. This is turning into a buttfucking parade and mallick is the one doing the fucking. Horrible statement that he has said NOTHING

lagcam 09-08-2010 09:54 PM

No. I think he is better dedicating his time 100% to negotiating a resolution with Visa/Visa issuing bank.

Michael O is doing a very good representing epassporte on GFY and other forums and when there is news we will get it.

Yeah, a few words to calm the masses would have been nice.

uh huh, "negotiating" :1orglaugh
epass has zero negotiating power with visa, none whatsoever, the only thing he can do is make sure he complies with visa's demands and then beg them to reactivate the cards... :2 cents:

I can't wait for this announcement tomorrow. Hopefully it is positive.

What a childlike view you have of business.

Aside from the fact, Visa have said that THEY have not directly frozen the accounts, it's the VISA issuing bank that have done so, we can speculate that the reason for this severe action is either related to the security deposit tied to the cards, or more probably because epassporte are not in full compliance with the new regulations and are not moving towards it as fast as the issuing bank (or Visa themselves) would like.

If that is the case epassporte cannot fully become compliant instantly but they have a good business and I do not believe that they will let it die without fighting for it and that will include negotiating some form of compromise that satisfies VISA etc that they are serious, and still allows them to operate effectively.

I am sure that they hold correct supporting documents for a good percentage of their accounts. I for one have both personal and business verified accounts as I am sure most serious business owners have so that is a chunk that can be immediately verified but not everybody falls into that category or has done enough business that they would need to be verified yet.

Unfortunately there are people walking around with high balances on their cards or multiple cards in multiple names and many of these may not be properly verified.

It wouldn't surpise me (again only guessing) that these negotiations could surround a % initial compliance to re-open either all accounts or just those accounts that are compliant and maybe a time span to get a further % onto compliance etc. Any negotiation will surely involve changes to operating rules and these will have to be acceptable to both parties and from epassporte's position would have to allow them to operate without instantly losing 90% of their customer base.

Anyway, as I have said this is pure speculation on my part, but you don't build a business like epassporte to let it die without a fight and that fight will be won or lost in discussion with banks and not responding to trolls on forums.

I thought the original message WAS from the horses mouth. Beyond that, does ANY business say anything to the public until things are "done"? Very rarely and if they do, they more often than not end up sticking their foot in their mouth. Regardless, we're supposed to hear something tomorrow.

If Mallick was posting on GFY people would be bitching that he wasn't focused on getting the situation worked out.

There would still be trolling.

Nothing would change so why bother?

There will be an announcement (hopefully a fixture) tomorrow.

Axzar 09-09-2010 02:00 AM

Statement: Only Visa knows the statement.

nico-t 09-09-2010 02:05 AM

it absolutely does bother me, yes. Epass treats its customers like shit by not saying whats going on from day 1. They leave everybody guessing for almost a week. At first i said i would keep on using epass when this has a positive outcome. Now im not sure, earlier this week i opened a payoneer account and i just hope all sponsors i use will start using payoneer. Ive had it with this shit.
