Sorry Chicago Bears are going to be terribad this year, this is the year the Detroit Lions actually win more games than the Bears.

Oh and Green Bay wins the Superbowl. Aaron Rodgers league MVP.
You can thank me later for these expert tips.

Yeah I am NOT a Packers fan by far, but did you look at their offensive numbers, fucking insane.

Caligari 09-09-2010 05:27 PM

Vikings vs Saints NOW.....damn its a tough one, they are my top 2 teams.

but the upswing is whoever wins i'm happy;)

on edit- yep the packers are going FAR this year, they are officially deadly again.

Gordon1 09-09-2010 05:27 PM

interesting trivia about the saints- 3 landmark emotionally charged games in their span.

1)first game after 9/11 they play NY Giants in NY and lose.
2)first game after katrina they play the falcons in New Orleans and win.
3)tonights game- first time ever they open the season as defending superbowl champs.

We will see how all the teams look this week. Every year is sooo different. It's anyone?s year! woot woot for NFL 2010!!!!

Zuzana Designs 09-09-2010 05:36 PM

I'm going for the Saints tonight as I have Bush on my ffb team. I hate the Vikings :( But I do hope Brett has a great start to the season but losses tonight haha.

cambaby 09-09-2010 05:39 PM

Vikings are toast this year, nothing like last year.
Saints will go far, but not the big dance.

I like the Saints as well. They look great so far early. They have championship heart behind them.

Zuzana Designs 09-09-2010 05:50 PM

Let's see what Brett Favre does.

Ohh that rots you can't see your packers game :( I have direct tv and get all the games with NFL Sunday ticket . I have to call in every year and it takes them 20 mins to get it working and is fine after that first call. I will be tuning in around 11 to be sure I can see all the games. I heard something about direct tv adding Fantasy Football to the programming. I will have to try and figure that out as well.

take 1 off the list. 6 days after Katrina most Saints fans didn't have electricity or where living in hotels and some watched it on tv but most were worried about more important stuff.

1. First game back in the dome after Katrina
2. NFC Championship last year vs Vikings, win and go to superbowl.
3. This past thursday night, first game back after winning superbowl, display the banner, repeat matchup from last year's NFC championship game.

Hell yes! The fat guy in the big red suit was here I just know it.

I get 5 games today including the Sunday Nighter, plus
Cincy - NE
Carolina - NYG
Niners - Seahawks
Denver - Jacksonville

There's going to be channel flipping today. A lot of it.

3-0 bears.

CDSmith 09-12-2010 10:27 AM

Chicago must win by 7 or more to cover the spread.

I took the Bears. No faith in Detroit yet.

hello? anyone home?
The September 25, 2006 home opener, the first home game in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina, was won by the Saints 23–3 against the Atlanta Falcons.
this was over a year after katrina, and yes everyone was watching. there was no dome game 6 days after katrina, people were dying in it.

CDSmith 09-12-2010 11:08 AM

Patriots look like they've got their act back together this year. If how they're playing so far is any indication, they are going to be tough to beat in that division. 17-0 over the Bengals so far.

The CAR-NYG and DEN-JAX games are both snoozers so far.

Zuzana Designs 09-12-2010 11:13 AM

My fucking bears need to hold on to the fucking ball!

IllTestYourGirls 09-12-2010 11:14 AM

My Pats are off to a very fast start :D

Zuzana Designs 09-12-2010 11:17 AM

I know that ZuzaLush needs points! My Bears need to get their shit together asap!

CDSmith 09-12-2010 11:54 AM

Holy shit the Patriots are just crushing Cincy now. I can't watch anymore, ha ha.

Good thing I picked NE in that game. :D

What is up with the Bears?

Deej 09-12-2010 12:04 PM

Just wake me up when the superbowl is on...

Supz 09-12-2010 12:37 PM

Giants looking good so far. Don't want to jinx anything.
