For some reason I hate HDR done in bright direct sunlight, specially when it's got hard long lines like the edge of rock face.

But I do like this one:

I asked the same. The conclusion was mixed. THe land used to be a giant sea bed or some shit... It is also said that yes, wind can get trapped and whip about causing some holes.

Personally I dont know what to think as some of the holes are in crazy places. For instance the holey pic was inside a much bigger hole, I crawled up in the cave like spot and took the shot of the holes on the "ceiling" of the cave.

So I really dont know :thumbsup

Canon 40D - stock lens

Everything from manual to landscape to auto. Mostly Manual.

Some small tweakage afterwards.

we tried coercing them over with numerous things. Mail, receipts, empty bottle. Its all they were interested in. THey got it, they bailed.

I do both exposure HDRs and "fugazi" HDR. TO me, if you get the same result then I dont care about the method. I do make them in Photoshop, both ways.

Some of these are not FULL HDR but just holding some HDR characteristics. Thus fucking around :thumbsup

Spunky 09-11-2010 01:35 PM
