Xoom - have any experience?
 

Anyone have experience with multiple/large volume transactions through Xoom?

Never did large transactions but have done mutliple transactions with them over the past few years and never had any issues.

i have sent money through them in the past..but then they banned canada..lol

but when i tried to send money last time it said credit cards from canada were no longer accepted

Hmm, that's receiving to Canada, maybe sending from Canada (credit cards) are no longer accepted.

Man Im old I remember when they were a free web host :(

I came here to post 'They sucked after NBC bought them'.

I used them years ago for paying a designer weekly. The amounts were always small, though... No problems to report. It seemed like he was always able to get his money.

I also thought it was weird that it went from a geocities-like free web host to a money transfer service...

LOL yeah I have experience with xoom.. Like 10 years ago actually when they were a free webhost ;) Xoom was so > Geocities.

Not large volume but I used to send my Phlip designer $ through there with no troubles.

It's worked for me on multiple occasions to pay Philippines and India.

never more than 1k to pay filipinos
