I need to find recommendations on the best method to hide the referring page. What have you?

Maybe so affiliate reps don't copy what the affiliate is doing?

To the OP: redirecting via javascript will hide referers most of the time, but you'll still get leaks here and there. It will also cock block search engine and other bots (which may or may not be desirable)

Wtf are some of you bitching at? I hide every single referrer. What you do is bounce off a different url.

This way it stops programs from using your setup. It's to easy on the net to steal not to do it.

What you really want to do is re bounce off a "bad converting" page. So if the sponsor tries to rip it they get a nice ass fucking. :)

Back in the days when I sent tons of sales from my galleries on HUN I didnt hide the refering URL and what happened - the week after the programs began buying spots themselves in direct competition with me..

So yes, there's all the reason you need to hide your refering URL

A double 302 redirect will preserve the referer in most cases. TGPs with a thumb + trade script (two redirects...) wouldn't work, otherwise.

This is only for when your server is fetching something. This will not change the referer presented by a surfer's browser.

the best way is a double meta refresh. It will leak every so often so keep that in mind.

Transfer your referring page to your Epassporte wallet account and then transfer it from there into your Epassporte Virtual Account.

Problem is, once it is hidden there, you will have trouble accessing it.. but it will be "in motion"..

OK, sorry, I misinterpreted your post and I apologize. I think a little humor may have gotten lost in the translation. As I wrote, I am seeking advice on the best methods to effectively hide the referrer. Part of the problem is that with the asking of a simple technical question,some posters came into the thread with shouts of "SCAM!" and "FRAUD!", when nothing could be further from the truth.

I consider hiding the referrer to be quite like having a lock on the front door of your house and no one would tell you that you shouldn't lock your doors, I think. Anyway, I again apologize for misinterpreting your reply.
