best way to boost wifi signal?

If you can detach the actual antenna, you can buy a new one with more gain and attach it to the router.
In the other hand you can change the antenna of the wireless card. |
OK, first you access the secret military spy satellite in its geosynchronous orbit over the Midwest. Then you ID the limo by the vanity plate "MR BIGGG".
Then you reposition the transmitter dish in the truck to 18.63 degrees east, hit Westar over the Atlantic, bounce the signal down into the Azores, up to Comsat, beam it back to Satcom transponder, and down to the dish of Mr Big's limo. It's almost too easy. (as long as Mr Big happens to be watching TV at that exact moment) .:2 cents: |

External antenna, but also get some wifi analyzing software so you can be sure you're on the clearest channel. It can make a huge difference.
