Best country to be an adult webmaster?
I'm doing fairly well, earning around $2,000 a week from adult and mainstream combined.
I'm thinking of moving from the UK to somewhere with less taxes and more sunshine. Preferably with as little beurocracy and redtape as possible too. In Europe, Spain is an obvious choice, but taxes and social insurance payments are high. I notice there seem to be a lot of Spain based webmasters here. The Czech Republic has 15% tax but gets extremely cold in winter. I've read that Uruguay also has low tax. And a nice climate. Any suggestions? |
Dubai has a classic business environment but obviously not for adult webmasters.
I'd love to hear the suggestions too. |
Anywhere that living off pennies is feasible... Try Indonesia...

The high seas in international waters using a satellite connection. :rasta For the land lovers likely somewhere in South America. What about Brazil?

Will you leave UK completely? I tried to move away from my occidental country a few years ago, and it was really a pain in the ass. You had to sell everything, give back your permit, social security, health insurance and never go back home for more than a few weeks per year.
Even with that, any judge had the ability to decide a few years later that you did not really left for X,Y reasons... really it was just freaking complicated with no assurance that the taxes won't hit you 10 years later. |
Aruba .... the best

btw im in czech republic, very happy. things are moving forward here, nice girls all around, not the same weather all year and four hours flight takes you to canary island where is summer almost whole year. and i am not talking about beer and smoking and all the other nice things here :)

Is it difficult to set up there, red tape wise? |
You could move to the cheapest part of the UK, somewhere way up North

Just buy some real estate in a sunny country with low taxes and stay there for 6 months and 1 day per year. That way you can legally tax your income there, even if you stay the rest of the time in the UK, for example during the spring-summer time. Check Carribean, for example Bahamas are tax free.

and when you want to open a company just get a tax accountant or lawyer and let them do the work - a limited requires 200.000 czk deposit (about $10,000) and takes maybe 2 months and a few signatures to set up. but yeah, winter can get pretty cold |

Isn't Ireland still good for corporations?

The world economy is going into the shitter, there is no way to really stop it so I am of the opinion that the USA is probably going to be the best place in the long run as the infrastructure is a lot stronger than in many smaller countries. There are some tax issues but nothing that can't be handled properly if you set things up properly. It is far too easy for some of the smaller governments to latch onto your funds or smply block them than it is in the USA as long as you keep the IRS off your back. Further, so many smaller countries are in or in danger of being in one war or the next or under the foot of some country like Russia which can control things like natural gas at a whim.
If things get realy tough on a world-wide basis, they're going to be a lot tougher abroad than in the USA and at least in the USA I think I could survive even the worst. Just sayin'. Sally. |
Move to Cancun, Mexico.... NO much tax regulations... And you will live in a paradise!

Is the satellite connection affordable now ? How much is let's say per month for something similar to high speed connection in USA and Canada ? Also, is it stable ? |
My vote goes to Iran and Somalia.

Last affilate tools update: Date Added: 04/05/10 I get regular email updates telling me her site is updated - last one dated Sept. 10 - yet there is no new content available to promote her with. Either you're kicking ass without affiliates, riding off your soon-to-be-dwindling-sales, or you need to start thinking about moving to Amherst. Put some new promo up you lazy bitch. |

No, I am not "paranoid" at all but very realistic, I think. Look at ir this way; the Middle East is assured of going to shit in the immediate foreseeable future, so that place is off my island. Mexico is already in the shit with internal strife far beyond the ability of its very, very corrupt government to control. The smaller nations near Mexico will suffer from the turmoil in Mexico as well. Indonesia has gone essentially apeshit as it seeks to become the domiant power in the region through the acquisition of nuclear weapons, which is going to screw up most of Southeast Asia and the Pacific nations and we haven't even written of the influence of those nutballs in North Korea who will most likely precipitate anoather "police action" of some kind. Central Europe is far too easily influenced by the Russians and the Russians are changing their mood lately as often as most people change their socks. South America is a hotbed of strife due to both the drug cartels and that lunatic Chavez in Venezuela so I am convinced that even if a global economic depression or near collapse occurs, the USA is going to be the best place to be. Sally. |
I was in your position 5 years ago with less money... My suggestion would just be to travel. A couple of suitcases and a laptop... Rent furnished places. Spend 1-3 months in various cities.
That's what I would do if I could do it over again. |

1. You want to communicate with me you contact me via ICQ (# below) or send me an email like a human being, don't go on boards and post (in two threads now) how you'd like some new promo tools. Dig? 2. The emails you get are from her Newsletter, which is for non-members, and it refers to her members area, not anything to do with promo tools. You must've signed up for it. Unsubscribe from it. 3. I allow certain affiliates to create their own tools if they can't wait for the (massive) update upcoming. See #1 4. I work 16 hours a day, run 26 websites, an AP, etc etc etc. Don't you ever call ME a lazy bitch, you drunk-ass fuck. 5. THE MOST IMPORTANT POINT SO THIS IS WHY IT'S CAPITALIZED. FUCK YOU IF YOU DON'T LIKE HOW I RUN MY BUSINESS. I DON'T WANT YOU AS AN AFFILIATE. FUCK, I'M NOT EVEN SURE YOU ARE AN AFFILIATE "MATE" BUT IF YOU ARE PLEASE STOP. gfy |

UK is bad because of cost of living/exchange rate.
Im in Australia, that is bad mainly because of government internet censorship which is coming into play and will block a lot of porn I reckon canada would be ideal but im just guessing. |
Canada is beautiful and not too expensive. Only move to Quebec if you love paying tax and tax and more tax.

Moving somewhere based on taxes, while logical, is penny wise, but pound foolish - that is to say, some get so focused on saving some off their taxes that they end up spending more time and effort than if they'd simply worked their business harder. Ron |
