Epassporte -- Why no cheques?
 

So, why can't EP payout their account holders by cheque? First, I believe that one must have a US bank account to receive a wire transfer. And, I believe that is the only option to get my money from EP? So, as I do not have a US bank account, I cannot get my money? Even if wire is avail outside of the US, it is not cheap. Would it not be easier for all parties concerned for EP just to put a "click here" to request cheque payout -- and once or twice per month have a cheque print run and mail them. Nice and easy. Surely that is easier than going through the process of potentially thousands of wire transfers.

Because funds are in motion.

Maybe you should read few threads regarding ePassporte withdrawal methods, not just believe something out of your mind?

good point imho ... wires to non US is a horrible way to transfer :( when a buddy from the US wired my one grand, $40 were the fee for HIS bank and another $60 from german federal bank = $100 (10%) lost :( awg, sheesh :disgust

Wire only costs $50

Why not just get all payouts in ePassporte (Wallet) and get one wire from ePass for $50? Its easier and faster than checks. Wire will be in your account before you can even see the check, let alone cash. Not to mention the hassle of depositing check, paying international check clearing fee etc.
