We have tried to contact them for weeks, and they keep giving us bullshit answers like 'we have too many wires to process'.. 'it will be done tomorrow'. Fact: nothing has happened yet. I'm starting to get really worried and pissed off. Ready to take action soon.

If you really have 250k tied up in epass then you should have been in touch with a lawyer over a week ago.

If yo file a lawsuit you need to get everyone on board. I think everyone should put in at least $50 or %10 of what they are owed, whichever is biggest for legal fees.

i your best tactic would have to started threads saying to keep your money in epass, not to panic, support chris and the industry, things will be fixed within 24 hours while furiously behind the scenes do anything to get your money out including legal counsel. then when it's out create a thread that one should only look after their own interests in this biz.

If you don't have the funds for that tap some others here that have big money tied up.

Epass owes us about $15,000. This was requested to be transferred on the 3rd. We've made three calls to them and emails and their response was "we're backlogged".
I'm looking at options but if anyone is putting together a legal response then I'd be interested in hearing from you.

Not suprised that bigger amounts are not going out.. this is what I was afraid of.
If we don't get it by the end of this week we will start legal action. Will keep you updated.
Will also ask our lawyer if theres a point to uniting with others or not.

Why doesn't one of you set up an escrow account with the lawyer in control of escrow and start adding names to a class action?

I don't know why people are finding it hard to believe epass are backlogged with wire requests. God knows how many thousands of account holders are in the same position as a handful of GFY members, and they all want their wallet balances wired out asap.

Well, I proposed the theory, in another thread, that his films are funded with loans made from the "ePassporte bank" (it's come out that the owners of ePassporte and ePassporte's new bank that everyone sends wires to now are, apparently, one in the same). It is just a theory, but it would explain a lot...

Oh shit.. they own a bank? Yeah no doubt about it they prob used the epass funds to cover their loans. If that's the truth we're screwed. Fractional reserve banking at its best.

2nd I don't think this is totally a visa situation. My guess is they are probably being investigated under the patriot act in some way as there are alot of foreigners getting money transferred to them through Epass from US accts. Also alot of US webmasters getting money sent into it from foreign accounts.

I assure you, this epass money isn't preventing him from buying any toilet paper.. but $250K is still way to large amount of money to be held hostage!
