So he says hes going to buy this huge harddrive to store all his full length porn scenes on, he loves porn, his favorite is Bangbros, the bangbus specifically, and flower tucci. So i ask him if bangbros or realitykings released a hot new episode would he signup just to download the full copy. Some site just have alot of ads but i close those". I LOLed. BTW, he is BLACK, 38, married with 3 kids works at subway part - time and works at a local grocery full time. Wife has nice job. They live in the suburbs. He has no clue what i do.

Your thinking is flawed. thats is why your pool of customers will continue to shrink. he continues to consume porn, and is willing to pay for it i.e.: bigger harddrives, faster net service, disk to copy on, etc. But he sees no value in signing up to a paysite. Like i said he lives in a suburb thats middle to upper class. His children are 17, 15, and 13 so no babies. They cut his hours some at his main job so he got a job at subway because its in walking distance. This IS your porn consumer.

If walmart all of sudden opened its doors tomorrow and said:

I don't really eat that accidental stumble over ovguide. I thought flower tucci is one of
his favorites, he has a pretty big ass collection, for sure he knows by now her site (with
5 years experience as you say) and doesn't accidentally stumble on unrelated sites.

Or maybe he was, it doesn't really matter. Fact is he puts some work into getting his fix

If a store decides to give away products for free, which they often do with "get two for the price of one" promos, it's their problem. You're not breaking the law if you take a free product home. However, you are breaking the law if you illegally download copyrighted material.

People search for "porn", Google tells them to go to Pornhub and it's all very convenient. They don't know they're breaking the law. People would pay for porn, but it's EASIER to get it for free.

The illegal sites are often more modern and professional looking than the pay sites, why would the surfer think they're doing anything wrong?

It is so ingrained in the culture worldwide that porn is free---I don't know why you guys toss around words like "thieves" still. I mean, I know why you do, but nothing is being done about it. It's been like this for 3-4 years now. People don't know it is wrong. If all you're ever looking for is to spend a quick 5 minutes to rub one out, why would you ever pay? One click for 35 min streaming porn vs. getting out your wallet, entering all your personal info and CC #? Come on now.

I imagine if a sure-fire way of embedding porn surfaces, or courts start to close down tubes, or if downloaders become concerned that their sources of so-called (to them, at least) "free" porn" will soon end, that they will spend money on hard-drives and storage devices so they can scurry around and download as much as they possibility can to store up for their future masturbatory needs when porn might "stop being free".

Perhaps it will take a LOT of time for our sales to recover because of the aforementioned possibility of "hoarding" and storing up "free porn". I would hope that the thirst for new/young/fresh porn starlets would alleviate somewhat the downloaders boycotting of new porn.

Not so much with the free music any more. A lot of people I talk to won't download for free because they're worried about being sued by the record companies. Plus the lawyers have shut down most of the convenient ways of getting free music. Sure there will always be hardcore geeks who will get it free.

If the porn industry could fund a similar legal effort, things would be better. Could you imagine a "MP3hub" surviving for more than a week? If the site's clear purpose is to violate copywrite, the laywers can shut them down.

Could you imagine if people started getting sued for downloading free porn? Attitudes would change very quickly, as no one wants that kind of imbarrassment in their lives.
