What would you think of a SURFER section on GFY ?
 

With all the discussions on no surfers allowed... what if GFY ..like some program sites.. have a surfer section where they can voice thier opinions, ideas and suggestions on the industry. Where the industry can also go to see what surfers are thinking. But the idea would also make them unable to enter the biz side of GFY.

I think what we really need is a "complain about how GFY is run" section.

I agree with Sly, if you want to change GFY, how about you open your pockets up and give ICS/Playboy an offer they can't refuse, then do what you wish?

SURFER just seems to be a generic term for anyone who argues with Robbie.

Sounding a bit like USA and The Rest of the World.

Surfer is a term everyone on this board is referred as by anyone on this board who gets disagreed with. Also broke child, trailer trash, or even fake nick.

How about opening your eyes and READING what is on this forum. If you think that it's people who don't agree with me therefore I call them a surfer...then you are just turning a blind eye to what is happening here.

How about FMLTube coming on here...and doing his best to ruin DirtyD's life and business and all the while LAUGHING on his blog at how "easy" it was to come to GFY and find out info on all of us? Or did you miss that?

Or how about gideongallery coming here constantly to spew pro-piracy bullshit, even though he self-admittedly is NOT in this business and when thedoc tried to help him implement his "theories" he wouldn't even send the email to thedoc.

That my friend is a surfer. Hasn't got a goddamn thing to do with agreeing or disagreeing with me.

You are in this business and think I'm full of shit...then I have no choice but to accept that. But if you are NOT in my business and have no experience and want to try and tell me how shit works....No fucking way.

There are plenty of people on this board that I do not like. For the most part, I ignore them. I don't even read the threads. These surfers that you guys are all complaining of... I don't even know who they are. I don't read the threads.

The only reason I even know who this gideon guy is is because I saw that funny cartoon video you made with him and TheDoc. Then I read up a little about him. Yeh, he's nuts, I don't need to read anymore.

Surfers are just going to ask GFY members for links to their tubes.

Let them pretend all they want in thier own section.

I do read everything, then far often that not I choose to close the thread without replying.

Wasn't supposed to be an insult at you. I suppose I notice it more from you when you are in combative mode replying to people like gideongallery and go a bit nuts than from other people. And a lot of other people have their own preferred denigrating term.

It's only easy to find out info if it has been given out in the first place. I've noticed several people on here who although happy to give out useful advice that other people can find helpful (or ignore) will say nothing specific about what they do or their own sites purely for that reason. Remaining mostly anonymous means you can run your business with less worry of copycats, and helps a lot in keeping away the nutcases that will follow you around out of some sort of grudge or jealousy and do their best to ruin your life as they are doing nothing worthwhile with their own.
