Not going to be able to do what I want to do with this website. My partner backed out last night. Great backlinks from Fleshbot, Digg and Dave's Daily. Had a PR3 at one time, but the site was down for quite awhile and lost its PR. Registered since August 2006. I'm gonna cut my losses and get out.

I'm sure there's something you could do with that website, why give up? That's the problem nowadays with adult...is everyone is giving up to easy or not putting in the effort. Why would anyone buy a domain or site that virtually guarantees getting a cease and desist or even sued. SG is rabid about suing people.

Don't know. They like to sue, but I've owned it for almost 5 years (content up for most of that time) and haven't heard a peep. It's a parody website. I was never after their brand.

of course you haven't heard a peep because you have never promoted it and haven't dipped below 1 million in alexa - you have jumped up in traffic 2300 percent in the last three months which means it was basically at zero visitors a few months ago... if a program picked it up and ran with it SG would take notice very fast.

I think its a funny idea and I'm not a fan of SG, they are absurd with their ridiculous contracts that lock models and photogs into exclusive contracts... There is nothing wrong with your concept at all.. I'm just saying they are very sue happy.

So it no longer has PR...does it have much if any traffic at least? That would seriously be the only value in it, unless you can find a clone of yourself that loves the idea as much as you do - then they might pay as much as you did for it.

No pr, no working backlinks, long non brandable name, no ability to even use it because it will recieve a c&d immediately. This is one of the few domains that I would even refuse to be given for free. Even more embarrassing is that you started a thread insinuating that it had some worth. I hope those losses you are supposedly cutting aren't very big.

If you find the right buyer you can still get some cash back for this, not sure how much, probably nowhere near the value of the time you put into it. Perhaps it would be better to leave it running itself with some pictures of the day and let it take a couple of sales a month or so.

No, that's not true, I contacted Suicide Girls about their affiliate program, which they said no to. It (was) intended to be a parody website. I can do parody all day, as long as I don't infringe upon the brand....at least here in the states.
