Finally a Tube site that isn't really a Tube site. (Thoughts?)
 

As you all know, I am against Tube Sites. So even though it's a Tube Site Script, and it says tube site. It's really an Exclusive Video Site. All videos are One Minute Clips. All content is ours either shot in house or bought.

Still a couple bugs, but overall seems to be working pretty good. Programmers are now working on an affiliate program for it if anyone thinks it's worth sending traffic to for PPS or Revshare.

We may need to play around with the membership prices, but with barely any traffic we are seeing a few sales trickle in.

I want to publicly thank Mechanical Bunny Media and Zuzana Designs for their awesome team work and making things work and look the way I envisioned.

We are still in Beta and testing conversions.

First comment I really think you need to get over your hardon for tubes. From the perspective of someone who doesn't know you and never met you I don't know how you think the posts come off but imo a lot of your tube posts make you sound like a big crybaby that keeps repeating the same thing over and over. No offense just being honest. I know I come off like a prick asshole retarded douchebag in my posts. I'm just giving you feedback.

The site looks good. The videos seem off. Is it encoding to size? I felt the videos seemed to be cutting off heads and the edges. If the raws look like that my bad. Just seems like it may be an issue.

Surfers will be confused as to why livejasmin consoles dont pop when they click, why there's no fully flash animated video ads almost crashing their system, and why they dont get sent on a joyride every second time they click.

Thanks Shap, I do appreciate the Honesty, but seriously, take a deep breath and look around you. Look at your offices, look at your house, look at your lifestyle and look at the life you will be giving your kids. Is the income coming from your Tube sites? I didn't think so.

I can understand your point, I really can. But for someone like you that spends top dollars on Exclusive content like we do and to see people shy away from it because they can get something similar stolen on a tube site is just straight out disappointing. Just because Michael bay decides he isn't going to screen his movies in theaters any more and is going to give them out for free doesn't mean Steven Spielberg is going to follow him.

More power to you and your free tubes, you are only taking away from your own source.

I'm around 1:9000 with feeder traffic, but a few sales on Cams Site as well. Still too early to tell.

This is how the tube model should be adopted for paysites.

Looks great, I like the fact you put full lenght of video in the info of thumb and when surfer clicks it's only 0.59 and you push the upgrade.

one weird thing is that on the index it has the full length video time, and when you click through it is only a minute with the full video with upgrade. i think most surfers expect to see the video length promised.

I'm making 7 figures a year in profit on GayTube (I mention that to put in perspective why I'm defending the position). The straight tubes are nowhere near that. But GayTube is a big part of our business and the reason I am in the position of defending tubes. I wish as much as everyone else we went back to the old days and if I didn't have GayTube i'd probably be right next to you campaigning against them. I totally understand your point of view. I've seen a very profitable business sector (tgps) just about completely die thanks to it.

On a mac. check the raw vs what's up. If they look the same then it's how they were shot. I just noticed I felt zoomed up when watching it.

It's a legal tube really, which i have never had a problem with.
You're just sending all traffic into your own site instead of sending it out to other paysites.

Looks good and I think it will work well because you don't have a)annoying pop ups b)annoying malware/virus and c)annoying spam email which is generally found on illegal tubes, and most importantly its LEGAL unlike the illegal scumbag tube b.s.

Also keeping the vids to a minute is good. I don't know why some sponsors dish out 5 minute clips...way too long imo. 1-3 minutes max suffices.

Now I see why you are sticking up for them so much. :1orglaugh There is always a reason behind everything. So why not remove the signup page from Twistys and make it a free Tube?

I have the video player default on wide screen, I think that is why you are seeing them like that. Thanks again for looking in to that.

there is nothing wrong with these types of tube sites, i have many of my own with 30 sec to 2 min clips... but i am against the "illegal" ones with full or 10+ min clips of video

Yeah. It's the domain and the niche. Straight tubes are a different beast from what I've seen. GayTube makes the majority of it's money from selling memberships. I don't think very many (if any) straight tubes are in that position.

My pleasure. The join page seemed confusing to me. Very busy. I personally would remove everything except the pic and the data box and join now. I bet if you did a test that would convert better

Yes, but many don't realize it, they should hurry up (including me) and migrate their old style MGP to TUBE or they might miss the boat. Tubes also get more love from The Google :winkwink:

I think it's all about the easy Navigation.

Yes, it is less clicks, you get to see content quicker. Also it feels comfortable since many watch YouTube.

Google loves it because it's more pages to index

let me say i have tried tube paysites and i find they do not make as many sales as paysites with less previews

while bookmarks increase and conversion ratios might be better with this kind of layout i noticed a lot less join page hits and less signups overall

i think it is mainly because people get lost in a sea of previews and never actually make it to the join page
or maybe because it is not really obvious that you must join the site instead of just browsing all the scenes on it

who knows but im not very pro tube paysites

Our price point testing shows there are really no differences in joins when it comes to $5, it's once there is a $10 price point difference that really makes the difference, so I'd go with the higher amount.

We dont have a full blown tube and i am not against them either. They rock from à surfers pov. Just the way most are done is what sucks :2 cents:

I could agree with that as the selling point. I would think as far as member retention it might work well.

This is what barefooties (and myself for that matter) have been calling "tubepaysite hybrids". Konrads script is excellent for stuff like this.
