Concerta - anyone here on it?
 

I've been ADD since forever, but I've always been able to get by. I quit smoking a few yrs ago and ever since then its been really downhill. Not sure if there was any correlation between smoking and being able to be somewhat productive, but since I quit smoking I can't seem to get anything done.

Well, I went to the Dr and they put me on 18mg of Concerta. I took it today for the first time.It didn't really do much but give me a runny nose and make me a little sleepy.

Anyone else here taking it? Let me know how it worked out for you.

My son was on that when he was about 13 years old. (he's 17 now)

It seemed effective for a little while and then after a while didn't seem to do much. He didn't like taking it, said it made him feel terrible. I took some once to see what he was going through and I swear it was like a reverse high.

I pretty much just felt like crap. That's the only way I can really describe it.
