Traffic guys in here now! Experts only

I'm getting hit botted. In a kind of weird way.

Here's whats going on. I have a site that was lagging so I thought I'd give it a short term traffic boost. I'm always looking for new sources so I tried someone different. Bought some traffic from this guy and its the type that doesn't show up on third party tracking. Not on 3 different tracking scripts. It's showing up on my sponsors stats page as 3 clicks per IP. At the same time. So I went into my server logs and it shows that it hits my site, somehow makes me the referrer, and then sends to my sponsor. It goes through the same exact image on my site every time. But the weirdest part is I got 2 joins from this traffic.

Heres part of my sponsors clickthrough log:

Now here's what it says on my server logs: (I highlighted in red and added comment)

On every entry like this, the engine sends the bot the first time to read my site. Then the same ip revisits with the spoofed referrer about 15 minutes later. I don't want to bore you with multiple entries but they all do the same thing.

My question is, how can I make it stop automatically passing on to my sponsor and stop at my landing URL? I would normally block this stuff but I got 2 joins out of it so far.

You are buying traffic. You got some joins. I would say your purpose would be to profit from buying traffic. This means that you would have to have more revenue than expense. You don't want to block the traffic because you got 2 joins from the traffic. That sounds reasonable. It's good that you are noticing with great detail which traffic gets sales and which traffic does not get sales. Focus on increasing sales and you will succeed. Good luck and probably more useful replies will follow after mine.
