How long would 50 gb transfer a month last when building around 3 free sites a day? getting in the range of 3-4k in uniques?

you left out a lot of variables there.

Hosting 10 meg movies ... not long

hosting 3k html pages with no images ... very long

not very long

no movies,

basically standard 3 page free site with around 20-30 images

again I'll restate:

hosting 1270 x 768 pics full resolution ... not long

web sized graphics fully optimiazed ... very long

Basically the deal is this.

If your just starting out 50 gb is probably more than you need but it's a good starting point.

Until you start building you traffic things may be slow unless you have ways to get traffic fast.

But you ask a question wih no variables which is very hard for anybody to answer.

I wasn't trying to be a smartass but it would be like me asking:

I want to build a thingy I read the instructions but it still don't work someone help.

(don't change any words in the above statement and tell me how much help you can give me)

Been looking around for virtual hosting packages and found candid hosting to be one of the best.
