An intricate attempt at stealing aol members credit & personal information.

I just checked my little cousins e-mail to delete all the porn & scams.

Babaganoosh 01-10-2003 12:41 AM

Hahaha, I bet that gets 90% of all AOL users that see it.

So easy to use, no wonder it's #1.

That's not a new concept - I've been seeing that for years. I cannot believe that people fall for that shit and I cannot believe that it's that easy to fool anyone.

But that's where a giant chunk of internet fraud comes from.

Fuckers.

Buy my content!

iroc409 01-10-2003 12:48 AM

lol... not even a secure site.

neotrace express says they're physically in the same area, but i think it got fux0red... i should install my old neotrace version. definitely not on the same servers tho :)

wonder how many people have fallen for it.

MetaformX 01-10-2003 12:49 AM

I just sent the guys info and site to AOL
If someone else wants to do the same, or send it to the FBI, that be cool.

SpaceAce 01-10-2003 01:04 AM

This was just in the news, today. Some 18-year-old in California (I think) just got busted for this exact scam. That is probably one of his sites.

I doubt its the same guy. There are thousands of those fucks on aol. They usually don't do the identity theft deal. Most of the time they login with their name and pass and spread viruses. What fucking fun huh?
