Paxum Or Payoneer - Who Has Lower Fees For U.S Webmasters?
Not including the price for a card who has lower fees?
|
Fees are not what matter.
Reputation does. If you're US based you should use checks or wires anyway. |

Some sponsors don't offer checks. |

Can i cancel my paxum account if I decide I no longer want to use it and don't want to be charged the monthly account fees? Can I cancel my prepaid paxum mastercard at anytime and not worry about it affecting my credit rating? Or do i just not renew the card if I end up never using it? Thanks! |

You're right, we have no monthly maintenance fees! My apologies! :error |
I agree ach would be a nice alternative for us. I dont think either of these companies have much a reputation. give them both a try and let us know.

I find it hard to believe that there is not some kind of cap. So if Paxum ends up with $50 million in wallet spread out over one or more accounts, all $50 million will be insured? |

well, for me fees don't even matter if they do not have P2P....
so if limited to just those 2, i would have to go with Paxum due to Payoneer not offering p2p... |

Canadian banks are very strongly regulated, with only 9 major banks in the entire country (and Canada is the 2nd largest country in the world (by land mass))! The Bank of Montreal is one of the biggest Canadian banks and the risk of the bank itself going out of business is incredibly small indeed, in fact it's only really likely if there is a full world economic collapse. And if that were to happen, money would probably be quite worthless by that point anyways! Quote:

i am waiting to see what the people I do business with use. (I don't want 10 different accounts to keep track of, just one or two that majority use...) |
I think
I think I will go with paxum because there are no irritating monthly fees. I just need to check with some of my sponsors will they adopt it. Luckily, several months ago I've dropped almost all sponsors not using CCbill or Verotel and it now looks like wise decision.

Didn't paxum open their doors right after epass dropped ? that doesn't sound too good.

Wait so there is a fee to *activate* the card AND a fee to request the card?
Are you kidding me? |

RuthB is it possible to change PIN on card?
|
What I'm really concerned about is transfer fees. How much does it cost to do a transfer to my checking account? Or is it cheaper to just withdraw cash from the card?
epass was a flat %1 fee. |

You can transfer from your ewallet to your prepaid Mastercard for $0.25 per transaction. Then there is a $2 ATM Withdrawal fee. Or you can transfer from your ewallet account by check for $5. So realistically it's probably cheaper to simply load up your prepaid mastercard and take it from there, or at least about the same taking into consideration there's usually a $2 (or so) fee at the ATM machine itself. |

When does a monthly maintenance fee take effect?
In other words: If I have a zero balance for 3 months and a positive one for 2 months and then a zero for 1 month, for 6 months total, how much did I pay in maintenance fees during that time? |
RuthB, will you be the new Michael O.?
|
RuthB is Michael O with tits!
