And really, if someone offs themselves over getting caught jerking off, I would assume they were destined to 'pull the trigger' sooner or later.

People kill themselves because unpowered TV sets tell them to. Should we stop making TV's or make it a law they must be turned on 24/7/365?

The problem will be when the scammers start targeting random people with fake impending action notices....... if they are not already doing it.

But it's not always the people who have done something that are targetted.

Think it's much more likely to be a random person who would never consider downloading porn that kills themselves.

Eventually the John Doe's identities will be revealed by the ISPs.

The risk is not the first suicide. The risk is when the wrong people are identified and then suicide.

I remember back in the early days when a mother would call our customer service not knowing what a charge on her CC was......

CS Agent: "um, well.....it was Men-on-Men-Assplay.com"

Mother: NOOOO! (followed by crying and screming , then hanging up)

Im sure there were some serious family "talks" after those CS calls. Not the best way to find out your little boy is into weird shit.

They will all pay because of the embarrassment! It's the new business model.
Tube sites and torrent sites have been stealing porn for years now - and nobody goes after them.
The small end-users however are VERY vulnerable.

I'm talking about "Murder/Suicide" as in they kill the content producer listed in the lawsuit then themselves. Surfers/Downloaders know about 2257 addresses.

im sure theres plenty of people downloading stolen content where no one will have to target people who didn't do anything.

Why don't you try reading my post again. See I said "scammers"? That means I am talking about people who will copycat the idea of these money making law suits and target random people. a certain percentage of whom will settle even though innocent to avoid being outed.....
