:Oh crap

x marks the spot?

It's because Firefox now has their own sync, so not much use for xmarks.
Especially in the new Firefox, the sync is standard built in the browser. |
I really like xmarks and its always the first thing I install on a new PC, after Firefox.
It's too bad they are going, unfortunately their service worked so well you rarely had to think about it at all. |
Yeah, sucks. I used them since the beginning.

Xmarks was also popular for telling related sites, in addition to syncing. |
if you have the latest version of xmarks, you can set it so you can sync it to your own server.

I using roboform to have bookmarks available on all browsers.
|
Damn I absolutely love that plugin :(
|
Xmarks is better than built in syncing because it can sync across different browsers.
