That looks mint.. maybe my next adventure!

A salesman demonstrated this to me last weekend here in LA, and I was impressed with the quality of the images. Panasonic's system uses clear glasses, and confirmed my suspicions that anaglyphic systems (that use red/cyan glasses) are doomed to failure.

Sure i agree with you. Anaglyph is not as good as shutter glasses. But for internet anaglyph is the only way for now ))

as far as i understand you can watch 3D from the cam on your TV and with a special player on your computer. but you cannot capture and edit the material

This is not a 3D camera but just a usual stereo shit. Nothing new since 80's.

Real 3D equipment is able to scan an object in all XYZ planes.

Shutter glasses are better but still not good enough (60% loss of brightness is too much). As about anaglyph, so it has died in 20's century.

P.S. Almost all 3D games can run in stereo anaglyph mode on NVidia cards. How many of you use this feature? Personally I don't, and I believe no one here does.
