His boss isn't Jewish? not sure the religious make up of CNNs ownership, but it kinda sounded like he was scoffing at the idea that jewish people in the states were 'oppressed'

I meant his boss as in CNN and what I was getting at is that he was probably right in jews owning CNN, in which case his other discussion about jews was an opinion of his boss.

I personally don't think anything he said is wrong (except maybe the part after the host mentioned jews' past oppression...many living jews have family members they knew/met alive or dead that were directly affected by the Nazis) - but he's an idiot for saying it nonetheless. There are certain unspoken truths...like a girlfriend looking fat in a particular outfit. He basically got trolled by Stewart in the truest sense...got riled up about what Stewart said and went into a rant that he shouldn't have.

Why is it that some minorities feel the burning desire to make sure everyone knows where they are from. Rick Sanchez is the perfect example; He talks about Cuba all the time. Oddly enough, I don't remember any other newscaster ever telling us on air where they are from.

And then in comments today he said he was a "minority who has faced discrimination all of his life". He was a popular newscaster on CNN making hundreds of thousands a year. Doesn't seem like he's had too many problems.
