What is the best country to live in?
Post your favorite and why. Im looking to move somewhere else.
|
I love Vancouver BC although I would like to try the Bahamas one day
|
I'm starting to think I want to live somewhere with white sand and crystal clear waters..
|
I might sound like a madman but colombia's countryside is just perfect. Cheap real estate, labour is cheap, women are hot, theres a lot of places for sightseeing. I know violence is a strong factor here but hey if you're not looking for trouble you wont find any. If you are making good money on this industry and ever think of retiring on a remote place that would be a great place. A place where you can make your dollars worth it :)

You should pinpoint your favorite preferences:winkwink: |
United States of America. Why? Because we're superior in everything we do. USA FUCK YEAH!

Seems like Canada / Germany / Austria I can vouch for all three :) |
The USA.... stop frontin'
Show your love... Keep the faith. |
Somewhere in southeast asia :)

Australia has good quality of life, but its VERY expensive to live here compared to almost every other country. New Zealand is pristine, clean, safe and probably the place I would live the rest of my life if i had to choose.

Interesting, if you work online and if you're not depended on location, you should go to the country where can buy more for your the money you earn.

well I've only lived in 3.. Spain, Nederlands and England.. out of those 3 I pick Spain, then Nederlands then U.K
Spain is cheapish and safe, nice weather, nice food. Nederlands is safe, everything works well and is a great country for kids, but shit it's expensive. The U.K my homeland, nothing really wrong with it, but expensive. All 3 have socialized healthcare so no need to worry about getting ill and not being able to afford to get treatment. I've spent around 6 months in the US, it's a great country but wouldn't want to live there, I like old buildings and history too much. Italy's great but again stupidly expensive. |

Netherlands or Egypt,

I recommend SIBERIA RUSSIA - always a lot of snow ! :winkwink:

There is no one answer. It depends fully on your personal tastes and what you require to be happy in life. Even then, it can vary from different cities within a country.
|
weather
Depends on weather. If you like summer, it should be some safe and cheap country in latin america (if there is such place). If you don't care much about winter, it would definitelly be Canada (safe, stable, beautiful, big enough). It would be hard for me to get used to different mentality in India for example. I've just got back from Tunisia and I couldn't simply live with people that are not sharing same principles like "wester" civilisation.

I've plans to move to Cyprus. Nice climate, VERY low taxes, safe country, it's within the EU so it's easy for me to move there, most speak English.
It's a bit expensive since the adopted the Euro but I guess you cant have everything. |
Germany is okay to live in. The food is cheap and it's a very liberal country when it comes to sex.
The downsides: you cannot receive any cheap electronic devices through mailorder. Politics get worse and worse every year. It's a problem of departmental politics. Also, they are working hard on turning the EU into a police state. |
Latvia FTW!!!
Terrible weather - check Worse food - check High crime, alcoholism & drug abuse - check High murder rate - check Government & police corruption - check Arbitrary enforcement of laws - check Extreme poverty - check Nationalist tensions - check Hatred of foreigners - check Gypsies - check Russian criminals - check Human trafficking - check Inhuman prison conditions - check What more can I say. If you enjoy crappy weather, horrible food, and constant interaction with prisoners, addicts, drunks, thieves, small time village gangsters, and other assorted lowlifes then this is the place for you....... just remember to bring a box cutter so that you will fit in. :) |

I'd say Austria or Swiss are pretty much the most livable countries in the world. Although a little bit too expensive, especially Switzerland...

I've actually been thinking of New Zealand and Australia, but porn is illegal in Australia so I guess that's out.
Colombia: I've traveled a lot in Colombia, and LOVE Cali's countryside, but the violence there is more than I can withstand. Right now I'm in Cancun, Mexico, and the reason I want to move is the insecurity. I'm looking for tepid to warm weather, a place where the govt doesn't mess with you, safe and where porn is legal. Does that exist? |
aint hush-hush from australia ?

for example you earn 1000$ it makes around 45,000 rs. so yea you do alot of fun with that money in that city. |
I made a similar thread a few days ago.
I think uruguay is worth a look. The effective tax rate is very low but they still seem to have a decent health service. Real estate is cheap. They have some wonderful beaches. Like Argentina and Chile, it's basically a European country, only cheaper. I'm worried about living in the EU with the constant feminazi bitch leglislation. A couple of people have mentioned Germany as a great place to live, and it is, but from what I know you won't survive more than a few weeks there if you have an adult website. And it's only a matter of time before the EU brings in such laws everywhere. |
sunny democratic country with low $ for living and good internet and laws, hmmm Siera Leone ? :D
