And they advertised on MSNBC
Now if they would have advertised on Fox, the place would have been full.

Being Fox news is number #1

The video on CNN makes it look like there was a decent number of people there

http://www.cnn.com/2010/POLITICS/10/....html?iref=NS1

It looks like there weren't as many people as at the Beck rally, but it seems to be a decent crowd. I have a feeling the picture above was taken early on as the people were just starting to gather.

It was taken from the left side, that side is pretty empty even on the CNN video.

Barry endorsed the rally but didn't bother to show up knowing it was going to be a huge failure so he went to Camp David for the day.

IllTestYourGirls 10-02-2010 03:21 PM

It was pretty hate filled event. Some blaming republicans, some demanding free housing for everyone. MSNBC is saying "thousands" attended. And saying they are " Tapping into the same anger that fuels the tea party movement". So I dont know what to believe because the article starts off as a lie.

This rally today was about getting more free shit from "the government" also know as stealing from their neighbors and giving it to them.

Marketing 101. You can't get the traffic if you don't get the word out. I hadn't heard anything about it either, until seeing it here.

You can't know what the American People really want based on attendance at a rally where the traffic depends on the marketing of the event.

beerptrol 10-02-2010 03:32 PM

They need to use pics and video clips of other rallies and pass it off as their own. Like some others did

They had 300 to 400+ organizations promoting this including Obama's organization and MSNBC. They had HUGE unions giving workers instructions to go. They were paying some union members to go, they claimed they bussed in 2000 bus loads of people.

I think it is a pretty good example of where the left stands right now.

DaddyHalbucks 10-02-2010 03:40 PM

They should have called it the "Freebie Nation" rally.

They get a D- in Marketing 101, but you do too. :) Where were 400+ organizations promoting it? If we can't see it, and don't know about it, then it doesn't matter if you promote it in 4,000+ organizations.

Obviously, Fox and Beck are much better when it comes to marketing their events. No comparison whatsoever, and you'd be silly if you think there was.

Once again you undermine any credibility you might have by posting a photo that has nothing to do with the reality of the event.

BTW, it was the "One Nation Rally" (as if you would care about trivial things like facts). :)

View these videos and tell me that the photo you posted is representative of the turnout:

Or another perspective from your beloved Fox (Faux) News:

At least you are consistent, you never let the facts get in the way of your false propaganda, and once again you are the one that falls flat, when the facts are revealed... :disgust :321GFY

If anyone here is a fan of FOX news, please answer me this question.

Do you realize it is biased? I understand you agree with their perspective, but do you realize it is biased or do you believe they truly present the whole story as it really is.

If you realize the bias and agree with it, that's TOTALLY fine. But I wonder what percentage realizes that. For example, I watch and read some liberal news outlets and although I may agree with most of the stories, I realize there may be some cherry picking going on in regards to the facts or numbers used in the story. They may have also only interviewed those who are sympathetic to the liberal viewpoint or have an agenda of their own. Do fans of Fox news also realize this or do they think they are getting the unfiltered news?

do you feel good about yourself perpetuating the lies of the media?

and no, i am not singling out Fox.. all media outlets are putting their spin on things and you monkey's are happily spreading it..

as soon as i saw this picture, common sense told me it was purposely taken with an agenda..

are you people too stupid or too lazy to figure out what is going on here?

.

tony286 10-03-2010 11:12 AM

The whole liberal media thing is a myth. Its creating us against them. Its you only can believe the lies we tell you. The huffington post was the one that outted the recording of obama saying people cling to their guns and religion. If the media was so liberal why was it the national enquirer that outted Rush for being a druggie and not the NY times when they all knew about it.
Bush was a coke fiend and a drunk until into his forties and the media only spoke about gore saying he created the internet.
MSNBC bashes Obama all the time, you never heard W's press sec talking about those right wing pundits not playing ball like you heard about the left.

The press has been cherry picking stories and leaving out things and highlighting others all the time, but I believe that they are bias. If you watch Fox, you're not going to get a liberal slant on things, you will hear from liberal commentators, but thats as far as it goes and when you listen to MSNBC, you're less likely to hear Obama's name in connection with failures.
I watch news on several channels, it's funny how they bash each other. And when they do, O'Reilly Plays those clips on his show.

My favorite thing to watch on Fox News? Watching the O'Reilly Factor with guest Jon Stewart.

I saw that pic posted on RedState... look at it... first thing I noticed was that the shadows (and lack of debris) indicate that it was taken early in the morning before the event was started. I will, however, grant that there were probably more people at Becks rally... but I wouldn't say many less. I watched the event on CSPAN while I was working yesterday afternoon and there were alot of people there... the whole mall was filled.

Slutboat 10-03-2010 12:24 PM

IllTestYourSquirrels is taking such a beating here you guys... ease up a little people...

Just about the whole right side (of picture 12 is empty) Just like the picture I posted.

http://i.huffpost.com/gadgets/slides...?1286137687165

Now lets take a look at the Beck rally.

http://protectliberty.us/wp-content/...Beck-Rally.jpg

So there you have it. :1orglaugh

So which rally was more successful?

IllTestYourGirls 10-03-2010 01:36 PM

Wait, next you are going to tell me all the people on the right side of the picture were wearing all green and they just blended in.

IllTestYourGirls 10-03-2010 01:42 PM

tony286 10-03-2010 04:00 PM

" but thats as far as it goes and when you listen to MSNBC, you're less likely to hear Obama's name in connection with failures."

not even close to true, the big difference is between msnbc you will hear about people being critical of the president for real things not bullshit like death panels. They are very very critical of the president he is not liberal at all. They feel very screwed. If I had a dollar for everytime Ed Schultz says the dems have to grow a backbone,I would have a large stack of money.

D Ghost 10-03-2010 04:06 PM

Fox, MSNBC, CNN, etc are all businesses looking to make a profit. None of their reporting can be considered fair or balanced.
