:1orglaugh i'm crying reading the threads and the comments - the opposers save a couple like Damian are literally an All-Star team of porn industry hangers-on, failures and trolls, it's hysterical.

you have GFY trolls worrying about some douchebag in a basement in Poughkeepsie getting sued for downloading a Jordan Capri site rip as said trolls spend their lives 24/7 on GFY hiding behind fake nicks trying to humiliate people for no reason other than their own enjoyment.

IF somebody is actually falsely accused of downloading something he has his right to defend himself and counter sue. Goes on a hundred thousand times a day in courts all over the country. whoop dee do.

As for garnering an even worse reputation the porn industry already has that these people are so concerned with - give us all a fucking break - the actual customers who do pay for porn are as much against this as copyright owners. Where do you think I get most of the reports of my content on Rapidshare, Hotfile etc - from PAYING MEMBERS!!!

I guess we'll just have to wait and see how things play out.

I would be willing to bet that they fall more on those side of those who oppose mass mailing settlement letters to random people they can't even name asking for 100 times the value of what was downloaded.

Not once has this type of campaign been successful.

Those who are parking attendants need not worry about what plays the players will use or the equipment they will be wearing during the game. Simply because other teams have lost to the team they have come to play today, does not mean they will lose as well. So you keep parking cars, cheering for the opposing team, and let the players play. Because when it's all said and done, the players will have the glory and a future, and the parking attendants will still be parking cars.

An unsuccessful campaign like this will only further damage the reputation of an industry that already has a bad rep.

And just because someone doesn't agree with this method, doesn't mean that they are pro-piracy. Is that really hard for you guys to understand?

There is nothing that can be done by anyone to harm the "rep" of this industry. If you were worried about a rep, you wouldn't have a photo of an old man sucking himself off in your avatar.

How true. It's amazing how many members will drop you and email to point out your stuff someplace. I can not even count the number of times they have helped me.

I have to say that this is the first thread where I am mentioned and I appreciate everyone being respectful, even if they disagree with what we are doing. In response to the poster with the pic of a man sucking his own penis, I would respectfully remind him that the value of compensation for illegal content being downloaded is not the value of the movie, but the value of having that movie stolen, which according to copyright law, can go up to $150,000. I will agree that some of Steve's girls do not deserve $150K, but if we do not punish the guilty (and the caught), then when will piracy stop or slow down. Piracy is bad. If you support piracy, please give me a well reasoned argument as to why someone should have the right to take something that is not theirs.
