So how did epassporte fuck up?

So how did epassporte fuck up since they can't use Visa anylonger? What exactly did (or didn't) they do?
And don't give me those "Back To The Future" pics, I was out of town for more days ... :)

Nobody knows, because nobody's being told what's going on.

The most logical explanation is in july 2010 visa issued new rules regarding prepaid cards, they gave banks 30 days to comply, that would put us into august-sep , shutdown was on sep 3. I dont know the exact details of the new reg's but i would guess something to do with money laundering or anti-terror rules, probably reporting of suspicious activities. Perhaps something as simple as visa took a random sample of 20 transactions over 5000 and asked for docs, epass couldn't provide and sknanb suspended their access

i agree with Smokey. there is a list of visa complaint companies that visa released on sept 4th i think and epass was not on it. coincidence?

also it states in that document that companies are giving warnings and time to get back into compliance so the statement that they had no idea there were going to be shit down is bs, they would have known for sure. unless the owner was busy with other things and the management structure running things was a joke.

I'm with Smokey on this one....

Karma... it was an inherently dishonest company from the start with shady business practices that finally caught with them.

"Subject to slight adjustment, it is expected that from Wednesday, October 6th, the overwhelming majority of cardholders will be able to access the funds on their Visa Card using their existing card, without providing SKNANB further information. A small percentage of cardholders will be asked to provide certain confirming information."

Sounds like that percentage, or amount of money, was big enough to cut off business.
